Oh Dot you are Amazing. That is the sweetest toy box I have ever seen. You really have Patients. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. So until next time God Bless you and your husband and have a Blessed weekend and stay safe my dear and Special Friend.
What a great job. I love the trick with the tissue paper, and heating it up in microwave genius. I’m definitely going to make a toy box in the future for sure. Thanks for all you do ( on both channels). Can’t wait for the next one.
Thank you Tina! ✨ We must encourage each other! I learned the microwave trick from another channel but had never tried it before. It's fun trying all these new techniques. Maybe I don't need to try them all on one item. lol 🤣😍
Hi Sherry🤗Yes! Skip this step. I am such a greenie, not knowing exactly what to do/ not do. I wanted it to seem "built" by someone in the family. Wasn't sure it would show or not. The slats didn't really show either, ( just a tiny bit). so this step could easily be skipped also. 🤪 It's a learning process for me😍✨
@@thedollcupboard I like the slats idea, I think it's really cool! I am hoping that every day each of us learns just one little thing! Keeping our minds open to new stuff and not afraid to make a mistake, that's what I love about you! I wouldn't know where to begin making a TH-cam video! And look at you!
@@thedollcupboard I am in the process right now of repairing an 1830's papier mache doll. I had to sand and fill in her head and just saw a thing on YT about painting antique doll lashes. Gonna give it a try! She will definitely be better than when I bought her. I will probably reveal the before and after on my FB page.
This is so precious! New subscriber here. I'm enjoying working my way through your videos. I love Victorian things too! I have just started making videos about my 1:4 scale Porcelain Doll Village. Come over to my Siennaflower channel sometime and visit! ❤️

Haha. I only have patience when it's something I'm really interested in. I'm so happy with my toy box. 😍✨
So much care spent on such a tiny thing. It is adorable.💕🐰🐇
Thank you so much! I think I'm less intimidated by tiny things. 🥰

Now, if we could only get the children to actually USE the toyboxes! LOL
Just an awesome detail
It's the little extras that make it
I need to fill the box with toys now! There can't only be napping in the nursery 😂❤️
The toy box came out great. Lovely to see how you made it. It was worth all the work.
Thank you so much! Unlike many things I do, it came out just as I envisioned. Plus it was fun! 😍✨

Thanks Debi! I did have a vision for this item, just imagining how it might've been done. I need to fill the box with toys now😍✨

Thanks so much for the sub and the comment Kathi! I do like the way this piece turned out. 😍✨
Wondering on this project why is was stained in the very beginning. You cannot see it whatsoever in the final product. Could I skip that part? Thanks!
