To anyone out there who is new to Sandro’s channel…subscribe. It’s so informative, entertaining and therapeutic. I’ve become twice the detailer I used to be in just a year alone, greatly owed to Sandro’s channel. His dedication to both his profession and the production of these clinics is the standard-bearer on TH-cam.
Well there’s nothing better then sitting down with a cold drink after a somewhat ‘challenging’ day with a black Honda Civic R Type with very soft paint and watching this trilogy of workmanship. Now my moral has been boosted, many thanks!!!! Regards from 🇬🇧

Thank you for your high quality videos and for sharing your knowledge and thoughts. And the music you add to the videos, elevate the quality for sure. Keep up the good work Sandro!
I have a 2017 world rally blue base model WRX. In my opinion this blue color is the best color for a WRX and a STI. Stay safe brother and a great video.
Wonderful! That Subaru Rally Blue is gorgeous. I really appreciate your humility and introspection towards the end. It's great to know that we need to enjoy the process and not chase after perfection. Thanks so much for this series. Like all your videos, this is top-notch!
Your channel is the sole reason that I kept learning how to detail properly. There's no other TH-cam detailing channel that puts out the kind of quality work you do. Every car is truly top shelf and you put the work in until the job is done. Unlike so many other channels, you truly just put the time and effort it without regard to how "fast" it can be done.
I really appreciate the wisdom provided through these videos. I think so often people see videos like this and get excited about detail work (or DIY work, or any trade or hobby) and are often disappointed because no one gives them realistic expectations.
You said in the video that no detail is perfect. But you come closer than anyone I have seen. And with this one in that beautiful blue colour... Just stunning. All the experience and knowledge that we are beeing able to take away from your vids are a blessing. There are so many general tips and so many things that I have lerned by watching your channel. One of the most interesting parts are when you do your test areas and how you choose the methods for correcting. The layer with the footage, editing and music is also something else. Just stunning and I follow quite a few detailing channels here on youtube and I love the fact that you all have your own style and feel. It gives diversity and I never get tired of watching yours. Your vids are as close to perfection as your work on the cars. Take care.
Sir, you are so well spoken in your videos. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable your videos are to watch on that alone. Your honesty is great as well. Thank you for not forcing products in your videos as well. I love your channel. As far as auto detailing, I'd say you have the best channel I've seen. Thanks again and please keep them coming!! As the owner of that wrx sti, I'm not sure if I'd want to drive it after you finished. It looked amazing. I'd ship it home and just put it in a glass box!!
Sandrooooooo! Wow...just wow! That blue is absolutely beautiful. You said there is no perfect detail or any perfect person and I concur.....but when it comes to detailers that I have had the pleasure of watching in person and on these TH-cam channels their aren’t any that I would rank you behind or along side. You my friend are second to none! That bar is unreachable ✌🏾
8:51 I can’t stress that enough!!!! Too many “expert” detailers in the industry (the ones who sell products and work with manufacturers included and are at the “top” of detailing) say you just need to wash, clay and IPA wipedown and you can lay down your protection, and while you CAN do this, it’s not even close to being the most effective or conducive way to performance and longevity. Polishing is THE most important part in my eyes apart from the obvious washing the car. It makes a world of difference to any product you apply, whether it be a pro grade ceramic coating or a cheap spray wax. It’s what truly leaves the paint BARE and clean. You don’t even have to correct the defects, a finishing polish will do to “clean up” the paint and ensure maximum bond.

Brilliant work Sandro. I’m not sure how many times I’ve watched this series. Apart from my own new car wheels off full detail and ceramic coating, I’m about to follow your process and complete this on a client’s brand new Porsche Macan Turbo and his wife’s brand new Mazda CX-5 Akera 2.5T. As I don’t have access to Pro coatings, I’ve opted for CarPro products so it was great to see how you used Essesnce. I know the CX-5 paint will be on the soft side, but I’m not sure what to expect from Porsche. My only other Porsche experience was a 10 year old Cayenne Turbo earlier this year and it seemed quite hard. Thanks once more and as I contemplate my learning here, I’m stunned you don’t have 10 times the subscribers that you so richly deserve. But as you have said in a few of your productions, human nature is a strange thing sometimes and the pizzazz of some channels is more attractive than the substance you provide. If anyone is still reading this I challenge you to please share Sandro’s work with 10 people you know so the word can get out further than it already is and he gets the following he deserves. Lloyd

I've actually never polished a car in this color, and I'd really love to. I just know it's gonna be one of the most satisfying finishes to see perfected after being on it for several days.

16:15 Thank god you said it. Have spent the last week and a half doing a wheels off detail on my evo, and when I was doing the wheels, I spent maybe a dozen hours trying to get every bit of embedded grime out from the small corners and edges before giving up. From any farther than 1 foot away, it's immaculate, and can only be seen when shining a detailing light right onto the imperfections and looking for it. Still, bothered me until I decided that I had to draw a line in the sand and decide it was "good enough".
Maestro: Every time you surpass yourself. Congratulations and thank you for these great videos. Greetings from Monterrey México. Hasta la vista compadre.
Great video and attention to detail! As a person who pays attention to every small detail what is your take on car wash with least water usage? I am sure you are also aware about importance of saving water. Is there a possibility you can make a video to show method how we can safely wash our car without the use of much water? I am aware about the waterless wash products but they have very high changes of swirling or scratching the paint and also that you are not a big fan of those products.
Thanks, and I’ve gone through waterless washing in several videos and it can be relatively safe but only if you take it slow and use a great technique. But in saying that, it has its limitations in that the paint can’t be too soiled so you have to do it more often, take a little longer in the process and maybe do waterless and traditional washes depending on the circumstances. It’s a hard one and no one has a perfect solution ... yet!
I wish I could give Sandro something for constantly giving me 20+ years of experience. I feel obligated to pay a tuition lol! If you ever move to California I’ll build you a barn or shed on your property 🤘🤘
Another great job, great car and great movie. Sandro, you are making extremely good videos and for this means one thing only: when you start to do sometning, there is one way only - professional!))) Just another comment to make you smile: commented one youtuber, wrote him he need to go for professional detailing and ceramic coating and explained him results and benefits. You will never believe and guess what he answered. He wrote "fairyteller" to me))) So, Sandro, both my wife and me watching your vids qnd laughing sometimes by remembering that guy and even saying with humor, that you are fairyteller also Sandro and you are not able to achieve results you are showing))))) Very good done! Greetings to the owner and all the best tou you Guys from Sweden.

Hi Sandro Amazing outcome nice work mate, just wondering if you have ever used 3D One One Professional Cutting, Polishing, and Finishing Compound? l also have the 2020 STI in black l used the 3D one on my car & worked really well.
Another awesome video series !!! Sandro, I just bought some New NV products that I haven’t used from the NV Line , NV EVO can I apply Boost right after application as a sacrificial layer and NV Wheel can I top with Jet after applying ? I normally use Jet on my wheels was just wondering . Lastly NV Onyx is probably the best smelling detailing product out there 😎😎 smells like cupcakes . Thanks for all your videos
Thanks mate and Onyx does smell amazing! You should try to wait 24hrs (48hrs if it’s cold) before applying Boost to just make sure Evo has cured enough as it is a slower curing coating, but anytime time after that is fine. With Jet over Nv Wheel I would recommend you wait a full week until the coating is fully cured , but you could apply Boost over Nv Wheel 12-24hrs later if you wish.
Morning Sandro, watched closely your wheel treatment, the scooby has gloss black inserts - pick your brains; matt black inserts on diamond cuts where the silver is gloss laq, wheel cleaning the inner drums with brushes leave slight swirling on the matt black, way too finiky to machine and risky to finger polish, any thoughts on masking products, do they even do matt / dull wheel waxes?
I’ve personally found that waxes and sealants primary used for gloss paint also work well for matte and satin paints - as they don’t create gloss, just add saturation and can fill in some very minor defects. But you certainly don’t want to polish a matte finish as it will create gloss and change its finish. So we really are limited in what we can do to matte paint finishes!
Thanks and yes Nova Pro and most ceramic coatings can be used on most exterior trims. But no I wouldn’t recommend Nova Pro for a first time user, Nova Evo however is a great pro level coating available to the public and very easy to apply.
I always wondered is the room you coat in ventilated? Or do you just wear some sort of mask? I coated using CQ UK 3.0 a year ago and thought my garage had enough airflow but still managed to give my lungs some chemical burn. While I’m at it I always wondered about those Carpro MF gloves while coating. What is the thought process behind those over regular gloves? Are you afraid of them getting coating on them and hardening? Or do you switch them out every detail? Lovely video as always!
Thanks! The shop is pretty well ventilated with a large opening in that room so I really don’t tend to get much fumes building up. The MF gloves stop my hands sweating and getting water logged and usually get a few jobs out of a pair.
Bro, your channel is awesome! Hey what handheld light are you using to inspect your application for high spots? I use my polishing phase hand light to apply coating but I feel like it's so bright that sometimes it blasts right through high spots which I later pick up with softer light. I see your light has a diffuser on it that looks nice and soft. I think I could use one like that. Is it something I can get online?
Thanks, and I’ll give you a link to it: www.waxit.com.au/collections/takenow/products/takenow-vega-light Plus here a review and demo I did on it as well 🙂 th-cam.com/video/KRUE_RP19jc/w-d-xo.html
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing well shoot, they dont sell it in the US. Thank you for taking the time to comment and share the info. I'm going to look for something similar.
A good wash decontamination process followed by a light polish if it’s an older coating or a more aggressive compounding process if it’s a newer quality coating should do it.
Question. My Miata was hit last week which took out the entire left side. The panels are being replaced and painted. Should I tell the body shop not to polish the new paint? How long until I can polish and protect? And all hit and run drivers hopefully will entail poor karma.
The body shop really needs to sand, compound and polish in order to achieve a good result, it’s more about trying to find a shop that will do it to a good level, and the painters will know what paint and curing process they used which is always different - so just ask them when you pick it up.
I have a question, when the 3-5 year passes, how do you remove the remaining ceramic coating, in order to correct the paint and apply a new layer of protection?
It be not necessary. By that time usually a wax polish will be sufficient in removing any lasting remnants. After a wax polish, and you are satisfied with the result, a new application or ceramic coating can be applied.
Yes, once a coating starts to degrade usually a good decontamination process followed by a light polish should remove the last of it and prepare the paint for new paint protection.
A good mobile detailer will learn to work with the outdoor elements so it’s certainly a doable service. But it’s also certainly not ideal for many reasons, but as long as the customer understands this and it’s not high end work you’re promising but rather a good solid result then it’s a great upsell service to utilise as a mobile detailer. There’s so many levels of work in every industry, I was mobile for many years and just made sure the work was appropriate based on time cost and promised outcome.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you for the feedback, you have always two opinions on this subject Some say NO you can't because of outdoor elements, and what you have just said hits the nail on tge head.

Grazie amico!
Epic!! 💎
You do excellent work. Wish your shop was nearby and not on the other side of the planet.
Hai i prom indonesia. I like.... Video from you...
Another awesome job!! Amazing work! Nova pro can be used over all exterior surfaces? Would it be good for a first time coater?
Thanks and yes Nova Pro and most ceramic coatings can be used on most exterior trims. But no I wouldn’t recommend Nova Pro for a first time user, Nova Evo however is a great pro level coating available to the public and very easy to apply.
I was gonna say so mine next. Then I realized you are in Australia. 🤪
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing that is actually an amazing idea. My hands sweat like crazy. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks, and I’ll give you a link to it:

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing well shoot, they dont sell it in the US. Thank you for taking the time to comment and share the info. I'm going to look for something similar.
I am really enjoying your video and am learning a lot too :)
What is the brand of light you inspect the paint with?
That’s really great to hear, thank you, and here’s a link to the light:

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you
It’s almost a shame to go out and drive it and get it dirty and rock chips. LOL
information ... How to remove a ceramic coating?thank you for your advice
A good wash decontamination process followed by a light polish if it’s an older coating or a more aggressive compounding process if it’s a newer quality coating should do it.
Great series. What cloths are you using for the coating wipe off?
Thanks mate, and here’s a link:

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks Sandro.
Hey Sandro what's the camera equipment you use for your channel?
I use a couple DSLR Canon cameras with several lenses, a couple of GoPros with several attachments and a DJI Pocket.

Thanks
I have a question, when the 3-5 year passes, how do you remove the remaining ceramic coating, in order to correct the paint and apply a new layer of protection?
It be not necessary. By that time usually a wax polish will be sufficient in removing any lasting remnants. After a wax polish, and you are satisfied with the result, a new application or ceramic coating can be applied.
Yes, once a coating starts to degrade usually a good decontamination process followed by a light polish should remove the last of it and prepare the paint for new paint protection.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing yes, never directly apply wax to a contaminated paint surface. The grit will damage the clear coat.
First thing he can do when he gets home is remove the hideous Fuel stat sticker and servicing sticker.
Hi Sandro what's your opinion on mobile detailer that ceramic coat car's out doors.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you for the feedback, you have always two opinions on this subject
Some say NO you can't because of outdoor elements, and what you have just said hits the nail on tge head.
