Hi I'm from the UK I am an Anglican priest at present I am not running any churches this is partly due to do with the mess up of a bishop who has lost his job or should I say taken early retirement. Been an incredibly stressful time that said I am looking after two churches part-time which is going very well.. and I think I will be back in Paris ministry soon as I've been recommended to take on a job anyway this song has moved me because my dad who is one of the most faithful Christians I know who loves Jesus has got dementia over the last year I have seen his personality dying it's been so hard to see such a strong man of God Forget Who people are he also has hallucinations seeing beings and people who are not there certainly challenges you about the mind I love him so much he has been inspiration to me over the years so it is hard to see him as he is so when I heard this song it moved my soul I listen to it many times but not sure why it helps me but it does so thank you
For those that don't know, Steady was Ed and Scott's Dad. He passed away a couple of years ago. Steady was a wonderful man of God and Charlotte Community advocate. WTK, thank you for a wonderful tribute. Love you guys!
Franni looks nervous. She was off a few times. I would be too at the Grand Old Opry. They preformed this song in Jacksonville back on Fathers day and the band nailed it. Perfect pitch. Pretty sure it was the first Fathers day without Steady. Anyone who wants to hear it are lucky as it was 1 of a few songs I had recorded that evening.
