Thanks for the vid. It's fun to see the different things that need fixing on various boats. A word on shooting video... You might think about widening your angle, or moving slower. A wider angle will reduce the motion sickness of your viewers, and make it easy to see the items you're pointing at. Or, you can get a tripod, set the camera further back, and stand in front of it. Then you can just point at stuff and talk... My two cents. Take it or leave it. 😊👍🏻
Scott, where do you find information on the Pearson Boats. I've got a 31-2 and need to replace the portlights but can't identify who manufactured the original portlights to find replacements. Also have an issue with a plate on the mast that stops the slides from popping out. Thanks
Mark Second Wind When I replace the windows on my 28-2 I kept the framework and replace the glass. I would join the group Pearson yachts. It’s a private group but if you ask to join I’m sure you’ll be able to. As far as the sail gate on the mast, mine was missing when I bought my 33-2 and I ordered it from www.rigrite.com/Spars/MetalMast_Spars/MetalMast_Mainsail_Gates.php#MM Hinged Sail Gates options... I started a group specifically designed for P 33-2 owners which has been great. There are many sailors much more knowledgeable than myself on the page and it’s a great way to talk to people with your specific model. I hope this helps.
I'm about to subscribe, but only if you cleverly think of how to clean the boat instantly. Most TH-camrs, when faced with such a task, will just snap their fingers and their boats are instantly clean in the next frame, if you get my drift ;-D
Leib33 LOL, I know, if you watch the boat tour of the bold is filthy. I had only had it for a very short period of time and was in a rush to get the girls down there to film. I promise the boat is in much better condition now. Just wait till next spring when you see a sailing. Thank you for the comment!
