Just a heads up, you can firing range test all attachments even the new weapons by using private lobbies. That's how I fine tune stuff. Tuning seems to make very negligible differences. I tend to only tune for ADS speed if it's available, otherwise I leave it alone. Also the XTEN Ported 290 + Agent Grip = an amazing combo. The 290 gives you a huge reduction in vertical recoil, and the Agent Grip gives you a ton of side to side stability. After playing around with all the grips, I think this is my favorite combo. The 'reduction' in walking speed from the Agent Grip is not noticeable at all. And it tunes for additional ADS speed.

@@jrr7031 as soon as Hardcore gets here on Wednesday that's where I'll be. Been a Hardcore player since MW07. Nerfs don't have much of an effect on that mode which makes it great to use a variety of weapons and attachments core doesn't cater to.
@Shread ington i would play but 1) im on console and 2) i dont like no one moving and the 1st to do so gets killed while everyone hides in corners, shadows, and head glitch locations.
I've the Agent Grip underbarrel to be a great attachment for more speed focused setups, it doesn't impact your ADS time negatively (the downside is to walking speed, but it seems exteremely minor), but still provides (anecdotally, to me) a better improvement to the idle stability over the Sharkfin. It also has an improvement hip recoil control, for what little that's worth, too. Also just assuming the functionality of surpressors with Ghost will be changed, I prioritized preemptively unlocking the ones that increase the damage range an bullet velocity, but specifically without the reduction to aim walking speed, because it felt very significant for those. The recoil and visual changes to the gun "felt" good to me as well, personally. I would also add the Komodo muzzle in as well, it's completely horizontal focused, but it's so effective for some weapons, in my opinion. Specifically on my 74u setup (also on the STB 556) I run it, and with the rest of the build I have a very maneuverable gun that just is a complete tac driver at any range on a 6v6 map. I tried most of the other muzzles you showcased in the video previously as well, but do have my best results with the Komodo in this specific case.
Not only anecdotal, the Agent Grip is literally one of the most used underbarrel attachments by the pro’s as it’s a better Sharkfin with no real downside.

The first two lasers you mentioned do have a downside, they come on when you aim down sights. Anyone who tapes their left trigger down can be spotted a bit easier.
For the blue dot thing, its actually a real thing all the contrast differences... blue is the least used color in nature... that's also the reason old movies used blue screens instead of the green screens
I’d say the best sniper scope for an honorable mention is the the spx 6.6 variable. always good to swap that out on the signal for instance or if you are a real man and use a scope on your sa-b/sp-r
Regarding the free/no downside under barrel attachments, a good one that was missed is the "TV Wrecker Grip". This improves Hip Fire Accuracy and Aim Walking Steadiness. I find this more useful than the FSS Sharkfin 90 since I'm usually not standing still while firing - which is exactly what the FSS Sharkin 90 requires : "Aiming IDLE Stability". At least that's my assumption... I'm not a great tester for this stuff. Could easily just be placebo.
@@antonindufournaud6572 yes, i understand that. However my confusion is from the "idle" part of "idle sway". I assumed "idle" meant "standing still", hence believing that it would only help when you are not moving. But since I'm always strafing while in a gunfight, I believed "aim walking steadiness" was a better option as this would be sway while aim-walking
AR Muzzle: Harbinger D20 / Sniper Muzzle: FTAC Reaper FSS OLE-V Laser (Must have for snipers) AR Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 Sights: Aim OP-V4 (for single fire on bots in DMZ I prefer: SZ Mini) Start grinding those.
I tend to lean for suppressors that also boost my damage range for builds. Maybe I'm nerfing my gun in some way by equipping it but man do I love suppressors

Just use grips that enhance recoil steadiness, hip fire recoil and hip fire accuracy. There’s a couple of them. Then there’s a laser that increases both hip fire accuracy and hip fire recoil.

Coming from a 2.5 KD myself, in MW 2019, I understood what worked for me and mostly played 10v10. MW2 lacks that mode unfortunately and the game itself remains a mystery to me as every engagement is challenging. This is a great and informative video! Hope I can tweak it to my liking and finally figuring out what works for me. It's frustrating ngl.
Its my opinion that you should prioritize horizontal recoil when putting muzzle devices on your weapon. Vertical recoil is ALWAYS pulling down to counter it, whereas horizontal recoil goes back and forth, it is typically much more difficult to control especially at longer ranges. Just my opinion.
This is normally what I’d say as well but MWII recoil trends to be a bit different. With most guns, the horizontal recoil doesn’t really kick in properly until about halfway through a mag but many have pretty harsh initial vertical recoil and it’s those initial shots that are most important.
@@TheXclusiveAce That extremely harsh, immediate jump after the first few shots, is that most effected by vertical recoil control? I would have imagined it would've been one of the other recoil stats. namely recoil steadiness

The schlaiger nvg scope and the night vision overlay reflex sight with both the regular sight and the flip up one does not go blind if the enimy is using cold blooded they just dont glow as much which is how it should be with all thermals. Those sights are my main go to attachments because It helps me with dumping 150 rounds into snipers in invasion when I'm grinding my gun when I toss a smoke infront of me.
about the slimline pro, for some reason I have unlocked that sight, I don't know how, and I don't remember wich weapon I was using because yesterday I leveled up a bunch of weapons, guess is attached to a pistol
I know this is not a popular opinion and the yes you can definitely feel the downsides but hear me out, I hated how underwhelming under barrel launchers were in MW19 but in MW2 oh boy, they are a different story. Near instant one-shot kill if you land the round directly on someone, the explosion it's also powerful enough to take grouped enemies and even if it only hits the splash dmg you switch back to your AR full auto almost immediately to finish off the low health enemies, the main struggle I have is aiming it at long distances, it falls down pretty quickly despite having high bullet or travel speed so it's tricky to land those rounds, I basically turn my ARs fast enough to balance the downsides but capable to take long distance enemies while being a threat in close quaters with the launcher, haven't tried the masterkey under barrel shotgun but so far I have the feeling the under barrel launchers outperform them. I'm having a blast with these launchers in this game that I shouldn't share the fun at all XD
I’d argue you missed one sight. There is the one sight unlocked by leveling up the p90 (forget it’s name ingame). It’s a low level zoom thermal. Really good on smaller arenas vs the normal thermal scope
I only just started playing... I did not realise I'd need to be leveling a plethora of guns I wouldn't normally use just to get attachments in gun I do. Not sure if I love this approach tbh

haven't watched your channel since Advanced Warfare. good to see i can come to your for COD tips. cheers!
I've been having great matches with the STB556 with only three attachments. The Echo suppressor, sharkfin forgrip, and ole V laser. SMG ADS with AR range and damage.
Thats because that gun needs to be balanced. It is equivalent to the Grau, pre nerf.
@@jrr7031 yup. You just know IW is going to phuck up all the good stuff soon enough.
@Shread ington that, and the kastov74u. Nerfs should be coming soon.
@@ZeWrAtH Good to know, I was kind of waiting for the game to be in a bit of a better state/more developed before I looked at pro play setups.
Nice to see I'm not crazy though, lol.
Love your content Ace! Long time fan! Keep it up.
This is what I've been waiting for. Thank you Ace
Watching Ace going around picking up tags in Kill Confirmed while I get teammates who think the tags are radioactive kryptonite 🙃
They're so good for weapon xp!
So I noticed with the bipod grip That on rooftops when your mounted you don’t fully look over balconies with this bipod mounted you’re able to look over hire objects while mounted I don’t know if anyone has put any videos out on it but it’s a really really good attachment for mounted kills especially if you’re doing challenges it gives you more room to look around without visibly showing that you were able to see more then other players if I’m not mistaken also while mounted it’s a very useful attachment also The spotter scope is broken as shit in ground war or invasion if you’re doing any of the rocket challenges I would highly advise using the spotter scope
Underrated comment, thanks for the tip 👍
@@hacimdoowlla2730 no problem i like almost done with all the challenges figured I’d at least put out some kind of tips out hopefully anybody else struggling with any of the Rockets are mounted kills gets to see this specially the spotter scope for the javelin aka joker spotter scope plus that makes it cheese for double kills lmao
How does the spotter scope help with the launchers? I haven't started grinding those yet
@@thousandlimbs you have to get 40 kills and then after you have to get double kills The spotter scope helps with finding targets especially those that like to snipe in ground war or invasion for instance it makes it way easier to find targets that are bunched up together
An XclusiveAce quest line? I'm working my way through it now.
Use the FSS OLE-V Laser with the Cronen Mini Pro Blue Dot to create your unique purple dot while aiming down sight lol
This was the video I was waiting for. A “great with any gun” build
Ace: unlock these attachments!
Me: Unlocking cool camos to use on al my wz loadouts
Aiming idle stability just means idle sway, its active at all times
@@cesaresp101 "Idle Sway" implies remaining idle, no? As in not moving?
@@Tuuvas thats not how cod uses it
@@Tuuvas no idle say is the sway from your optic when aiming. It is always here even when moving and firing your gun. This makes recoil worse.
AR Muzzle: Harbinger D20 /
Sniper Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
FSS OLE-V Laser (Must have for snipers)
AR Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
Sights: Aim OP-V4
(for single fire on bots in DMZ I prefer: SZ Mini)
Start grinding those.
I tend to lean for suppressors that also boost my damage range for builds. Maybe I'm nerfing my gun in some way by equipping it but man do I love suppressors
When talking about the best grips and muzzle attachments for recoil, would have really liked to see recoil pattern comparisons for w/wo the attachment
What attachments would be best for a hip fire build? It's to tell what attachments give the best stats based off the charts. Thank you, love the effort you put into your content.
Just use grips that enhance recoil steadiness, hip fire recoil and hip fire accuracy. There’s a couple of them. Then there’s a laser that increases both hip fire accuracy and hip fire recoil.
Stockless and grips with lasers and muzzles horizontal sway with recoil control. And of that combination will improve hipfire.
the Angel-40 holographic sight is a must for me, i run it on most of my rifle setups. the reticle is clean enough, and the distance indicator is really nice to have.
it only ranges to 200 yards which is worthless to help with bullet drop adjustments
@@turinreza are there even lines of sight that are 200 meters? the average gunfight is within like 60, i don't think i have to worry about that.
@@turinreza The range indicator is better for helping to get longshots for camos
@@andrew_gould in warzone there will be lines od sight and i usually take 500 to 800 yard shots in warzone. I will calculate bullet drop in DMZ mode foe out to 800 meters
@@mindman4217 can we mark a location to determine distance yet?
I love how CoD puts the PP-19 Bizon in basically every game even in cold war (which takes place in 1984 the bizon was invented in 1993) even though the military hated it and outright refused to use it at times because it constantly jams, nice to see they added the PP-19-01 which is the variant that the Russian military widely uses and is the standard SMG only took them what 20 years to get it right?
Coming from a 2.5 KD myself, in MW 2019, I understood what worked for me and mostly played 10v10. MW2 lacks that mode unfortunately and the game itself remains a mystery to me as every engagement is challenging. This is a great and informative video! Hope I can tweak it to my liking and finally figuring out what works for me. It's frustrating ngl.
I would add the schlager 4x sight, its actually 3.4 power, a good middle ground for longer ranges
YEAAHH i was waiting for this video so much.Thank you Ace , people like you make me enjoy COD
Might genuinely re plan a good bit of my Orion grind around this. Thanks as always.
The spreadsheet??? You're my hero.
I would have imagined it would've been one of the other recoil stats. namely recoil steadiness
the cronen mini pro is also a throwback to the MW2 red dot, good enough reason to use it for me
I used to do nothing but play some COD for fun and easily achieve 1.75 k/d's. These days I got to take notes from Ace's videos just to scrape by with a 0.90 k/d. fml. You need a PHD from Call of Duty University just to understand these attachments to gain an advantage! Double fml. Thank god for Ace!!!!
Can you make a new vid on this? They've changed the attachment system.
thanks for the spreadsheet. copied it and made my own notes. thanks ACE!
You're the best. We all knew this was necessary 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I think the muzzle I like to use is called the ecoless-80. I like the positives and I seems to be able to attach to multiple guns
The Agent Grip underbarrel is also really strong for the hipfire with barely any cons
The schlaiger nvg scope and the night vision overlay reflex sight with both the regular sight and the flip up one does not go blind if the enimy is using cold blooded they just dont glow as much which is how it should be with all thermals. Those sights are my main go to attachments because It helps me with dumping 150 rounds into snipers in invasion when I'm grinding my gun when I toss a smoke infront of me.
liked for the addition of checklist in description 👍
Thank you ace for these guides I have tried many of your suggestions in other COD games and they help.
Always helping. Thanks Ace!!
Thanks Ace! This was exactly the video I was waiting on. Shared it with all my COD buddies too. Keep up the good work man!
FSS Sharkfin says no cons but IW probably gonna come and take your first born or something.
really liked the cronen mini pro optic during the beta, so i went and unlocked it pretty much right away when i saw how to for the live game
Bro popping off at the beginning of the video👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I been waiting all day for a video.. thank you for all you do. Much appreciated
This really ace?
about the slimline pro, for some reason I have unlocked that sight, I don't know how, and I don't remember wich weapon I was using because yesterday I leveled up a bunch of weapons, guess is attached to a pistol
The canted peq laser on the fennec is incredible
I’d argue you missed one sight. There is the one sight unlocked by leveling up the p90 (forget it’s name ingame). It’s a low level zoom thermal. Really good on smaller arenas vs the normal thermal scope
I only just started playing... I did not realise I'd need to be leveling a plethora of guns I wouldn't normally use just to get attachments in gun I do. Not sure if I love this approach tbh
