I don't think many people noticed it, but the sister is in the Pink Hoodie. The brother is in the Blue Hoodie. The brother looks like he is working for QianJin.
I only picked up on this because I thought it was weird that the writing on the photo said “please save my good brother”. The writing on the photo only makes sense if it’s the brother working for Quanjin and the sister trying to save him. Also when I saw his eyes in the present I knew that has to be the brother because of the shape of the eyes.
@@RonCanns OMG I went back to find the part where the masked person gave LuGuang the photo, and it was the BROTHER who gave him the photo not the sister! 😳 So now i'm confused if its the brother trying to save the sister or the sister trying to save the brother. However the brother for some reason is with Qianjin.🤔
Lu didn't actually preview what happened in the photo. In episode 4, he said that because of his condition, he couldn't use his power continuously, which is why he needed Cheng to go into the photo so that they could get clues and see what happened.
This season has been wild. Season 1, the episodes were pretty much self contained giving us glimpses into the powers and abilities of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang. There were only a view story arcs that carried over into the next episode so we had fewer cliffhangers. I almost feet that the first season was JUST a Prologue to the main story which we begun in season 2. In season 1 were introduced to the characters, the abilities and the world. We still don't really know their motivations, especially Lu Guang. The mysteries they have presented us with so far - Emma, Red Eyes, Lu Guang and what happened to Cheng Xiaoshi's parents. Just a side note the the images in the ED, seem to be hinting at a time machine, especially HG Wells novel . In the 2002 Mvie "The TIme Machine" the fiancée of the main character, Dr. Alexander Hartdegen, is named Emma. Dr. Alexander Hartdegen is the one who built the time machine. Makes you wonder what if there is tie in or not, or it writers of Lick Click really love the novel or the movie.
I am kind of amazed at how they are able to weave in these stories like in the first season into this second season which has ratcheted up the pace quite a bit and still make it work. I bet you that Qian Jin was involved in this case which is how he first met them. One of the rules is that death is unchangeable node in the stream of time BUT what if you are the cause of that death by going back in time? Is that not different? I think the twist here is that I don't think Cheng does anything. It is going to be someone else. The husband might still kill the wife but someone else is going to kill the husband that isn't Cheng probably the guy next door. This is tough to watch but kind of for a whole another reason.
Personal Theory: We didn't see the brother's eyes at the end of the episode, so it's possible that this was the first time he activated the possession ability to take over the neighbor and kill his father to protect his sister. (I feel like the mother being killed here is too obvious, and knowing Link Click, she probably took her life after being emotionally damaged or something). Qian Jin was the policeman who rushed to the scene and discovered the brother's ability. The brother fessed up and was taken to juvie. Sometime later, Qian Jin came along and promised to get him out if he used his "possession" to assassinate the man who murdered his wife. The brother agreed, and that was what started their partnership. Qian Jin then became a lawyer, so he knows exactly which loopholes in the law he can use so they can take out their targets without any repercussions.
42:06 it's funny you mention this cuz i only just realised there's probably two hoodie people running around! They have different hair poking out of the hood and they're wearing different coloured hoodies but made similar enough to be confusing... This makes me wonder if they're hiding their identity from someone or something...... It seems like the twins also switching clothes for whatever reason. Ah this show is amazing
a detail I saw and I truly don't know if it's correct but each time the boy touch the hand of her LG couldn't see what happened. So maybe it was because LG injuries but also maybe the brother has something or both has something to null LG eyes. (Also thinking about it LG didn't see red eyes while he used his power at the hospital.)
I still think the brother is Lu Guang and later dyed his hair white. Maybe Cheng Xiaoshi was the guy he met in that water fountain. Can't it be? He looks exactly like the younger Xiaoshi we saw in flashbacks and he saved the boy's ball (which we all know he symbolic to them)
