    1. Set the theme - single headline that sets the theme
    - Make theme clear and consistent
    - Create the headline that sets the direction for your meeting
    2. Provide the outline (I want to share with you 4 things)
    - Open and close each section with a clear transition (..and this was the first thing I wanted to share with you this morning)
    - Make it easy for your listeners to follow the story
    3. Demonstrate Enthusiasm
    - Words like Extraordinary, amazing, cool, incredible
    - Wow your audience
    4. Sell an experience
    - Make numbers and statistics meaningful
    - Analogies helps connect the dots for your audience
    5. Make it visual
    - Paint a simple picture that doesn't overwhelm
    - Give them a show - add video / guest / demonstrate the product
    6. Spend time to Rehearse
    7. One more thing
    - Give your audience an added bonus to walk away with

I love the way steve jobs presents. Whenever I'm doing a presentation i wear a black sweater and jeans, and pretend I'm steve jobs. lol seriously it gives me a lot of confidence.

Steve was being himself. He was interacting with the current vibe. His action were natural to the situation. If you are not enthusiastic about your product, if you dont believe in your product then quit.

Great presentation. I want topping out nose thing: telling people that 12 gig is enough music for them to listen to on their journey to the moon and back is not tangible. Instead, I would give an amount of songs or just the plane amount of time. That said, I found this presentation to be thoughtful and useful.

Putting it simply....if you can entertain and capture the attention of a crowd of three or four thousands onlookers and keep them spellbound till the end....then your NO ordinary speaker.

When you love what you do and have a real passion about the products or service it's much easier to convey that to an audience. One reason Steve Jobs is so brilliant; everyone wants to hear what he has to say.

As experience "REHEARSE" as much as you can then you will present fluently. Of course there are several other things that make your presentation solids e.g. you have to love what you present, know about it, expect the questions of the audience, change the style every 3 minutes,... etc.
Thanks for this Video. It is really valuable.

The key takeaway from Steve's presentation is to add your own personality to the presentation. Many presentations today are devoid of any personal touches or theatre. Presenters have lost the ability to be themselves

i just dont get it why some comments are irrelevant and so rude.
well i am not an apple user, but i adore steve jobs so much that he can make the presentation so attractive and persuasive for the audiences.
beside he's a great bussinesman, he also kinda down-to-earth and really knows how to communicate so well.
    billions thumbs up! :)

the key to the well received Jobs presentation was not really about his presentation but more about him and his company are so good at creating a new religion. Years back, even a bending phone was taken as credit and compliment for Apple.

This is a good video tutorial for presentations that involve selling a product or a business idea. When it comes to presenting technical information or training materials, however, this may not be the best context for it. Regardless, I agree that it's always necessary to show enthusiasm for the topic and rehearse!

Some of you don't get the Steve-effect (or are fooled by it). Apple makes computers, mp3 players and mobile phones. Not very exciting, is it? But Jobs is a performer, luring us in a fantasy. He cleverly builds an experience and gets us excited about things we normally don't get excited about (anymore). That's the brilliance of this guy (wheter you like his products or not, you'll love his show).

Take in mind, he has a big advantage, the content of the presentation, the brand, the technology that he shows, so it is 80% of the main message he wants to transmit. Besides he is an Icon of the industry so he do not need to present him self. BTW check in youtube the best presenter I ever seen: John Chambers (Cisco CEO).

The presenter isn't saying "be Steve Jobs, not yourself". He's just identifying a few key techniques that Jobs used. There's still plenty of scope for individual style between those guidelines.
I've suffered through plenty of excruciating PowerPoint presentations that might have been vastly improved had the presenters used some of the techniques identified here.
