A welcome back from Draycote Fishery Manager Tom Bird to all the anglers that have braved the cold weather to kick the season off.

A busy day with all the boats out along with all the bank spaces taken up with anglers looking forward to the new season.
The cold North East wind certainly made for a cold day, with the fish sitting lower in the water column that expected and want flies fish deep and slow.
Lincroft point and the Cornfield seemed to be the hotspot with bank and boat anglers all taking fish.
