I bought one of the first ones and it did a 13.1 down the quarter. Weird cramped riding position and stability at high speed was suspect for certain. The RZ was better but I wouldn''t admit that back then.
@@oz2strokeman394 I loved the KR, but that was the generation of bike after I got my licence. My first bike was an rgv in the mid 90's, I got really good at riding with that thing.
you have to remember MICK DOOHAN was a big lad even in 1986 in the world of 250cc production racing every couple of KG you carry in weight is BHP / SPEED down on a good lightweight rider , it show`s in this race not so much on a 500cc / 190bhp GP bike

Doohan ride in 1986 produktion class and 1989 Honda 500 works rider .Not bad.
