@@johncornell3665 he had a blast that night.
Barry, you seem to have plenty of room for 🍱 food and that is amazing in it self😊
Thanks!
I get a kick out of the National treasure I’ll set and watch him watch you and most the time he looks bewildered at what your doing your lucky to have an older friend like him 🙏
I have noticed the same thing about how he intently watches. Yes, I’m lucky.
@@goodallscountrykitchen on a side note tell the National treasure to go buy some Tar-nex and clean those trophies up 😂
@@zuess8018 he’s already on it.
Really enjoy watching all of your reviews. I especially love watching you with the “national treasure “, love the stories. Appreciate it all , keep it up !❤️
Thank you. I love doing it.
Sam is sharp as a tak. I couldn't remember anything back from my youth. The fish and all the fixings looked great. Thanks for another great review!!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reaching out.
Seeing that old man smile made my whole day!!!!
Me too!

Good to see a story like that about national treasures childhood taking you back in time when things weren’t so crazy out there
Very cool story. He loved every minute of it too.
dang good review Coach thank you… pure Americana.
Thank you. That one is special. I will look back on that one years from now and remember fondly.
As a 75 year old black/ Hispanic raise inthe trust belt in a shanty Irish community and middle schooled in a catholic scilian /German neighborhood to a qpoloppfrom there to a scolian , German
You have quite an ancestry!
Great to see NT back in action! You made his night Barry showing his courtyard, trophy case and pictures that was cool stuff! Amazing 25 out of a class of 44 still out and about enjoying life. I wonder how many tons of fish and fixins they go through. Thanks again for another really enjoyable video. Later buddy!
Thank you!
Nice to you give those 2 good ol boys some camera time. They dig that stuff. Video was spot on. Thanks for sharing brother.
Thanks for joining us.
Great review. And great stories from the National Treasure
Thank you kindly
Wow, what a great tribute you give to Sam. I love hearing his stories and the basketball championships ones were the best. They are pure Americana. I hope we haven't changed so much as a nation that these stories no longer exist in the present day.. Keep that double snapping turtle coming brother. You enjoy food as much as I enjoy motorcycles on my channel.
Thank you very much!
I just heard your channel mentioned on SiriusXm again just now on 70s on 7 after a Lionel Richie/Commodores song was played. How awesome!!!
That’s awesome! Magic Matt on Sirius XM 70’s is the GOAT!
Good deal Barry, got home and going to enjoy your video, fish frys are always good, and the National Treasure is a wealth of knowledge,Bill.
You got that right!. Thanks!
Eggrolls, fried fish, and everything tasty fried. Big bonus the man the legend SAM👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Got some serious food envy going on. Great and tasty vlog good sir.
Love it! Thanks for watching.
Hello there no one like you keep the good work up
Thank you! I will.
I went to Athanasies then to DeSales to Bellermine.
Three great institutions.
Great lenten vids. So glad you went to all of these churches, much loved and wow on the fish! Karla in Cali.
Thanks so much!
Thank you Barry for another mouth watering Lenten Catholic Fish Fry! 👍🏼 FYI: St Mark’s Episcopal Church on Frankfort Avenue ( where I did attend) has Smoked Salmon on their menu plus fried fish and fixins’ every Friday.
Thanks for the suggestion. Are they only open during lent?
@@goodallscountrykitchen Yes. They are just doing Lenten Fish Fry’s. Can’t and won’t get into religion here, but the Episcopalians are known as the fallen Catholics, I being one, anyway, St Marks was and maybe still has very “orthodox” ceremonial services (or use to) and follow along with same guidelines and ceremonial celebrations and ways as the
Catholic faith. On a side note, ( Ssshh, my X is the “smoking “ guy, he still goes there, and he does know how to smoke meat & fish and turkey ) 👍🏼
@@KyBornGal very interesting.
Sam done stole the show again ❤
I was counting on it!
Looks like a line up for the fish fry around here my Brother! Home made egg rolls are a new touch I've never seen before at a fry up. That Grace Hot Sauce has sure been coming in handy!
Thanks for watching. The Grace has been a great addition.
@@goodallscountrykitchen I'm hooked. Wouldn't miss a video!
Love you videos!!
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Have you ever tried a fish sandwich with cheese and raw onion ? That's the way a lot of folks order them at the fish fries around Pittsburgh, Pa. Try it some time.
As a matter of fact I have. Many times.
Always a great video Goodall tell um like it is always looks delicious 😋
lol! I will thanks!
Love your show
By the way , we also have good Lenten fish fries here in San Antonio Texas
Thank you! Awesome!
I heard that double snappin turtle bite all the way around lol
lol!!
Awesome brotha they do the same thing down here at the chatolic church in Abita Springs every Friday
WOW I guess its been awhile since I been round the Catholic Church cuz I never knew they was selling beer on ANY DAY LOL Times are aaaa changin QUICK!
It’s always been that way around here during my lifetime anyway. Nothing wrong with having a cold beer with a fish dinner.
@@goodallscountrykitchen Well I haven't been around the Catholic Church since the 80's SO yeah I guess it's been awhile tehehehe Nothing wrong with a Cold one for sure.......just never seen a Church sell it!
Good one....Milller Lite and first stop...what drinking at second stop? Always enjoy National Treasure.......
Some kind of IPA. I don’t remember the name. Not very good.
God Bless the National Treasure, Barry is alright too lol
Thank you!
Barry man this is awesome. Have you thought about what you are doing for your 20K subscriber video? Would be cool to do a FAQ video.
Possibly! I appreciate you being supportive of my efforts. I’ll give it some thought on the 20k subs.
👍👍
Hand breaded 2X 🐟. ❤️
First from water to breading, second from milk to breading. Class dismissed.
Crunch, slurp and chew 😂
Do they all serve fish on rye. Never saw or heard of it ?
Rye is the popular choice around here.
Using grace hot sauce like holy water. Were you baptized in that stuff?
At times I am submersed in it.
I don’t know much about fish fry. How expensive is it to eat there?
Very reasonable. Anywhere from $12.00-$14.00 per dinner.
now I'm wondering what a Grand Turkey Disposal is. I guess it must be a turkey dinner.
I missed the turkey part?
@@goodallscountrykitchen when you were standing by the trophy case there was a framed advert from 1919 behind you and Bob on the wall advertising a Grand Turkey Disposal.
Are you sure that the national treasure isn’t St Francis himself? Just asking.
Sam is a lover of all animals like St. Francis.
8:08 HAHAHA
King of the one/liners. lol!!
Ask Sam who wins the tourney...besides UK.
Ok, I’ll ask.
Mr barry where is your father
He wasn’t there. That’s my friend Sam.
Barry don't care if ya show the plate up close or not but getting tired of hearing about the playe haters. Keep it real and be yourself.
I am being myself.
What THE HELL BEER in Church. Are you for real
You never been to a Catholic Church fish fry or picnic?
😂 drakedavis3695, so just don’t go there if they serve beer, and stay home, or go to McDonald’s, they have a great fish sandwich, and you can get 2 for $6.00 thru Lent. 😉
@@KyBornGal lol!! For real!!
My man, are you new to earth? Every Catholic church picnic, fish fry, or men's club meeting in Louisville serves beer. Also, they're not in a church. They're in a school gym.
Why do you Southerners wrap two pieces of bread around an already breaded piece of fish? The way you do it is accompany your fish with chips (fish & chips) and good old garden green peas. (The British prefer mushy peas.) What you're doing there is bread on bread. Not good in my opinion.
Have you ever been to chick filet and had a chicken sandwich or been to McDonald’s and had a filet-o-fish? You are telling me you’ve never had a sandwich with the meat breaded? Wow.
@@goodallscountrykitchenYeah I have and I don't like that either. Bread on bread. At Chick-fill-A you can get a grilled chicken sandwich without the breading. At least here in Canada. Wendy's used to have that but they cut it out here in Canada. The problem with any kind of breading is it absorbs the oil (if it's deep fried) and that will make you FAT.
@@steve1909 too late. I’m already FAT.
@@steve1909 and a chuck filet sandwich without the chicken being breaded is pointless.
@@goodallscountrykitchenThat's your opinion and you're entitled to it.
