Oh man! This has to be one of my favorites. I love history I love food and most of all I am a dog lover. We just lost our 11 year old pyrenees lab mix (Murphy C). Hard buddy. We have 3 little shih tzus that miss the big guy also. Best looking cold cut sandwiches I have ever seen. The desserts yum buddy! I loved seeing you share with the beautiful pup next to you. Barry our little girls kiss us and we kiss them back! Coach great production I will be waiting for the next one. Oh yeah just watched Ry man's latest vid he is going to do alright! Later buddy!

I live in Northern Indiana. There's lot's of Amish communities here. A few years ago I visited some hidden Amish stores out in the middle of nowhere. I was blown away at the items they carried. It was just like this episode. The thing that was really unbelievable was the selection of cheeses. I have "never" in my life since so many types of cheeses in my life! They also had a ball of cheese that was at least 6 foot round. It was insane! Amazing craftsmen too. As a kid my Grandparents use to say I called the horse buggys, buggy horses. I never was quite right in the head though. lol
lol!! The whole Amish thing intrigues me. Not enough to convert though. I would “Shunned” in about 15 minutes. lol!!

We lived a mile down from there for over 20 years and we moved from there the year it opened. We do still frequent that store in the fall during walnut season. There sandwiches are top notch and really great family. Another great review keep em coming

Love this place. Folks are super friendly and the sandwiches are great. Tuesday and Thursday are normally the days to get the fry pies. Try some of the dill pickles when they are available. 😀

They are the best and backbone of the industry. Being new to the area I have gone to many of the establishments you have featured and enjoyed them. I'd never heard of hot browns, sorghum etc. I reckon I've watched 90% of your content. You make the food so interesting and always make me hungry! Keep up the great work.

However, we don't say 'y'all' or my personal fave 'y'all don't know nothin bout that'. I'll try and set a new trend, but I can't see the old Yorkshire folk getting into it. We have 'ay up there lad, where's thou going'. One example of many!

Man, you are too kind!!!! Thank you sooooo much Bill! By the way, I had an old buddy that was USCG in WW2. He was a Bosun Mate on the USS Samuel Chase (APA-26). He drove a Higgins boat. The Chase was the only ship to make all five European invasions. His name was Russ Kellums. I went to his shipmate reunion back in the early 90’s and took a bunch of pizzas from my pizza place.

Two generations of Goodalls: Parents made the best sandwiches in Jefferson County in the twentieth century. Son eats every sandwich at every eat local establishment in Jefferson and surrounding counties in the twenty first century 😋

I was Director of Safety-Security at Eastern. I coached football there back in the 90’s. I’m somewhat of a Civil War historian, but love American history.
