thank you for watching!
Love the auto steer you have on the 856. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you for watching!
thank you
thank you for watching!
This video makes me wish I was watching with smell-a-vision. I imagine that chopping smelled so good. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Hope you didn't have any damage. After this video I have to put fence up that flood waters tore down
So sorry to hear! We had one tree go down in the lane, and the screen on the milk house window flew off. Otherwise, aside from water pushing sand and dirt around, everything appears to be OK!
Ah, so satisfying, and so much faster than me and my scythe!
Keith the humble but great farm comedian thumbs up 👍
He is very witty. I wish sometimes I could come up with stuff that quickly!
Hi from Canada love your farm videos I use to farm I miss the smells lol Mine was a FARMALL H still love the sounds that's good feed right there !!
Our H certainly comes in handy. Thanks for watching!
I wish that we had a green chopper and a wagon like that. We let our girls graze everywhere, but they compact the soil :/ We have some bottom areas that would make a ton more if we kept feet off of it.
Ours have grazing area as well. Keith's cousin has recommended that we put more of the pasture to forage because we could actually grow more food that way.
Remember when that was my job…Before school and after school…Had the same model tractor..856…Sure looks wet though …
It is tremendously wet, but I am not going to complain about it. It's better than drought!
Very good sounding 856 and a great video thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
The family member we have not seen in the past few vlogs is Hank. If possible, give an update on Hank. 🚜 🚜 🚜🐄🐄🐄🐄🌽🌽🌽🐄🐄🐄🐄 🚜 🚜🚜
Yes, quite a few people are asking about Hank! He moved off the farm at the end of March into an apartment with two of his friends. He's back on the farm off and for pizza night, and filmed most of the first video that we did with our new camera. If you haven't seen that, look back a couple weeks to a video called "This is a Test." He makes a brief appearance. I will have to tell him that I need to get him on camera so people know he is okay!
haven't watched in a while is that a new tractor to the farm
No, we bought the 856 a number of years ago, partly because the Kubota was going to need some work that would take it out of commission for days. It's been an extremely worthy investment.
Two great running old tractors. I grew up on a H and a Super H. That sound sure takes me back. Thanks for the memories
I had to open the gate & hook up the chopper box for my older brother so he didnt to get off the tractor. That was my job !
reminds me of the good old days of dairy farming
Good stuff
Thank you!
Great shots! I can remember doing the green chop on the farm. Dad was a great welder and he built two feed wagons out of metal pipes that lasted forever. Wonderful channel!
Very cool! And thank you for the kind regards.
Yup loved the sound of the of greenchopper and the tractor in the field working together and the fresh smell of new hay
It is a wonderful smell :)
You are a very good videographer in my opinion. Even getting almost in the line of the flying hay. It definitely looked heavy with moisture. It is kind of difficult to decide which is better, too little rain and everything looked so brown, like last year or too much rain like this year. Actually much prefer the green. Maybe next year will get it together and give us all a better mix. Hope you haven't had the bad storms that some are getting. Thanks again for the video. Oh yes, is Rascal an identifiable mix of breeds or like my dads favorite, Heinz 57?
Thank you very much for the kind comments. We have gotten quite a bit of rain but fortunately not the violent storms that some others have experienced. I prefer the green as well. Rascal is a mix of three different breeds...
Sorry I hit the wrong button too soon. I'm just sitting here wondering, should I tell you what three breeds, or would you like to guess?
@@laurafink8783 Love to guess. My guess would include German Shepard, maybe Collie, but where Rascal got the curl in the tail has me guessing. How far off am I?
@@leahmollytheblindcatnordee3586yes to Shepherd. Throw in blue heeler and beagle, and you have the mix. 😊 Collies were the dog of choice on this family farm for many years.
@@laurafink8783 Thank you. Believe it or not I did consider Blue Heeler, but thought the color was off. My nephew had one, they are very smart dogs and my dads last dog was a beagle. Wouldn't have got it right.
I had a half Black Lab and half Norwegian Elkhound and the only traits I could see were that she was all black, had slightly heavy fur and a tail that really curled. Thanks for putting up with my wordy comments. I have always enjoyed meeting people. Worked as a secretary for the Physical Therapy Department and had previously helped to treat patients. People are so neat. Have a good night.
❤️👍👍💙
Hello, Ahmed!
Hello fink family
We had an old john deere flail chopper that my brothers gave us for free. It must have eaten rocks in its lifetime because the fan blades were bent and it couldn't blow worth a darn. 😊
Probably why you got it for free! 😆
Always enjoy your videos
