Thanks Paul, the Elf certainly has made a huge splash here in the last couple months! I am so very thankful for all he has done and still can't believe it sometimes! Thanks for stopping by and checking it out!
Beautiful Addam, wasn't it you that did the Top Force and when painting the body you gave it a coat of lame flake first, I did that w/the green MAN that's just too awesome thanks Brother, when running it through the grass and leaves it looks like some kind of critter man would that drive my dog up the wall! In the 80's I built a thrasher car just for my dog, gosh Dixie loved that Addam Ralphie
Thanks! It turned out really nice! I have used the Lame Flake on a few but it was not a Top Force, I know I have seen them with it though. My dog has a love hate relationship with them. The beagle in her want to chase so bad but the chicken part of her (about 86%) is terrified of them! At least she doesn't bark non-stop at them like she used it, that would get old real quick! LOL!
Gosh Dang Adam! You did a most excellent job capturing the old school artwork! I think this is going to look better rampaging through the trails! Really did a superior job on this. The Rc Elf will be pleased no doubt my friend! Loved how it handled out there too!
It really handled perfect. I think my guestimate on the shocks was pretty close. I think this and the Nova Fox are going to be my favorites for a while. Both drive very close and are just cool to watch out there!
off topic i remember back in high school days stopping at the automotive store during my lunch break and spending the hour doing the lettering on my first car / track car. Good as hell times. I struggled like a sob shaking the marker in between lots, trying to get the angle right, and getting back to class with only the rears done first lol, good times. Beautiful buggy, made in the 80s, loved by the ladies they say :)
Nice build Addam, The paint scheme looks great and I bet the lame flake lights up nicely in the sun too👍. I can't believe it can pull wheelies, what a ripper of a buggy. Thanks for sharing your video and thanks RC Elf!👍🦘🇦🇺
Yeah, if it is able to hook up it will lift those front wheels up. Mostly just spins in the dirt but even when spinning it grips and takes off! It was a great gift from the Elf and will certainly be getting another one to build!!
Maybe, from initial fell they seem to be fairly similar of a drive. I think it will be fun for some head to head comparison. The tires on the Kyosho are far better. With my terrible driving my be harder to tell!! 😂😂😂
Very true, the hard part is finding something I like and not copying it one to one. This was based off of another one but I changed up the stripes and stripes to make it my own thing. It does kind of get lost in the leaves a little, need to get out there and get the last little bit up so I am not dragging leaves all over the place!! Thanks for watching!!

Looks awesome man I love the writing on the tires I too want to do this to a couple of my cars but I'm curious how to even tackle it and the rc elf is an awesome person for what he or she does for the Hobby
Thanks, it turned out pretty cool. I bought a pack of tire lettering pens from Amazon and trimmed the tip to a sharp point. That kinda worked but ended up just dabbing a bunch of paint out of it and using a bamboo skewer to dip in the paint and transfer to the letters. It is tedious but looks great! RC Hobby Shed suggested doing it in tin dots all the way around the letter which I can see working well as that is similar to what I ended up doing in the end. Doesn't work well to just draw it on.
