Very thankful for this man, and his passion for the history of our fellowship. His passion lives on in these interviews, his writing and will continue to inspire us to record and study our own history for ages to come. Thank God, for the allies we have had since the beginning. As it has been said by Bill and others, we couldn’t be where we are without them!

I have noticed in meeting that the history of AA is not talked too much about I thought it had something to do with it been an American thing? BUT ON reflection the history of AA forming in the UK is a little known topic in the rooms of an AA meeting in and around the London area I do believe history will bring us closer to the spiritual concept of recovery and meaning of this program

I foremost thank you for posting this. I am an AA and Ive sober since Aug 2012. I championed Ernie and read 'Not God' and his speaking/ recordings looking for more historical info. I felt out of sorts yesterday and thinking of he and felt the need to try and email Ernie and accidently read his obit on 'the Fix' website. I have stayed clean of alcohol for all these few years but still struggle with my own defects. The history of it all keeps me searching and continuing the path. I will pray and continue to follow the program to a T and read Ernies readings. God bless he and those on the recovery periphery.

Wow here I am in 8/28/20 still sober and embracing my ACA as well. I still champion EK and William White too. Trying desperately to find work in the recovery field after years of being social services. I am finally authentic and this is my personal spiritual legacy.
