    Hello from Montreal! that is some tasty brass ! love the warmth ! Great for those 1950's 60's sounds. articulations are truly lively . Great sounding library. warm brass gets overlooked too often in symphonic libraries. This library truly sits in that sweetspot between a film and concert sound. Since that is also exactly the kind of thing I like to write myself, a mix of late romanticism and film music, this library would fit perfectly in my template which lacks warm brass as of right now

    I would love to have this library because i think its neutral sound could really fit into some hollywood style orchestrations and could blend really well with almost any other brass library, especially with the close mics. I think i would use it less for solo brass writing. I don't own a good and versatile brass library yet, so this would really be a fine addition!

    Those special articulations are truly remarkable, nothing quite like them. And there is something about that space for sure. 9 58 was a perfect sci fi tense, 1960s sort of sound wow! I would def use these anytime I wanted to get that type of vibe. Cinesamples strikes me as the best at Brass. They have a way of capturing nice round tone, and dynamics without too wildly blasty.

  • @AndrewLeFevreMusic

    All those articulations would be great to have as I'm still building my personal libraries. The muted articulations in particular sound really good!

  • @aarondjacob
    @aarondjacob ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm a huge CineBrass lover and daily user, but despite how gorgeous it sounds and how it's stood the test of time for the better part of a decade, it does often feel lost in the era it was made. The limitations of that technology are starting to show, so seeing CineSamples refine its technology and re-record its sound is a welcome step forward. Industry Brass, and perhaps the whole Industry series, seems promising and I'd have no trouble switching it out in my orchestral template (with a few mix tweaks to give the instruments a little more depth and space than how they come out of the box). Thanks for the review!

(insert heart-eye emoji) I would love to use this, right now using the Performance Samples Pacific Strings, which are amazing, I'm really in love with them haha (the articulations and the overall quality is just astounding for that price), I wonder how well Cinesamples' library would go with the Performance one (:

  • @NanoAugur
    @NanoAugur ปีที่แล้ว

    I grabbed this one and found that they really need to patch a lot of things. While the longs seem to be in a better state in the Kontakt version compared to the Musio version (better legato articulations too), the shorts seem to be pretty broken at times. As an example, for the trombones, it's playing all the round-robins at the same time, plus it's playing the dynamic layers from velocity but not at all masking things with expression/volume and cross-fading between the various layers, so you can tell - painfully so - which dynamic layer you're currently on with the shorts.
    I know the shorts can sound fantastic because the Musio version does that much better right now, so it's something they can still salvage via an update for the Kontakt version, but wow was I surprised just how buggy and broken it is right now.

  • @micheleduritto
    @micheleduritto ปีที่แล้ว

    I kinda tested it with the Musio Beta (but not really exstensively) but it does seem a great library.
    What i would use it for?, i mean, the performance patches seems really interesting and they would probably be my go to for getting my ideas down fast.....but depending on the track this could very well be my bread and butter Brass library, since the ones that i already have are more specialized than this one.
    Also, great video Chris, thanks to you and Cinesamples for the giveaway, and good luck everyone.
