Hi doesn't the antifreeze have to be above to allow gravity to bring antifreeze to impeller?

Hello, Thanks much for watching and for making a comment!! The Impeller created enough suction as it steadily drew the level of the antifreeze down and of course feed it into and through the motor and then out the exhaust thru-hull fitting. I also checked the spicket on the port side of the engine Block to make sure anti freeze came out.
This season I used a bucket of regular water to start with so I knew it would help bring the engine to operating temp and open the Thermostat. As the water was drawing down to the bottom of the bucket I refilled with the appropriate antifreeze. The whole process was really easy. I hope that helps... Please feel free to Subscribe to my channel if you haven't already done so.. Thanks again and Happy Monday 😊!!

How much antifreeze did you need for the motor?

Hello! I bought a few gallons… there will be some waste unless you are able to capture what comes out the exhaust . Plus I used some to winterize my electric flush head and I Poured some in the sink at my head and the sink in my galley… I imagine you can return any unopened bottles. Hope that helps.. 😎⛵️🥢🏴‍☠️🤙
