Exploring Texas Parks Part 6 - Big Bend NP: Boquillas Canyon, Strawhouse/Marufo Vega Trails

This is part 2 of a multi-video series showing some of the wonders of Big Bend National Park. From our base camp at Rio Grande Village, we hiked the nearby Chihuahuan Desert Nature Trail at Dugout Wells, portions of the Strawhouse & Marufo Vega Trails, and concluded with a hike into Boquillas Canyon. Sighted several roadrunners, which was fun!

I chuckled at the entrepreneur on horseback who offered tamales to weary hikers! This park seems so barren, but you found interesting flora and fauna to capture and share with your viewers!

We were so disappointed not to have any cash on us! He even offered to trade a granola bar for a tamale; sadly, didn't even have a granola bar....
