Every thing about Ostilli Host looks balanced until you realise it is all about buffing a one action reflex save cantrip. This is an amazingly effective use of a 3rd action. For builds with a spare action and big two handed weapons this is great.
These things were obviously directly Inspired by an old Scify channel TV series about aliens coming to earth. their human bodyguards were given symbiotes that were basically This thing :)
I just finished reading this in howl of the wild last night pretty neat archetype. This on the new bug guy race is a pretty neat and flavorful strange and alien option. I can see this being super fun in starfinder 2e as it really feels starfindery.
Actually looking at this whole thing in context makes me hope that paizo is willing to nerf splatbooks. Why is this slug better than most spellcaster feats in the game.
so, as someone who is just getting into PF2e (i've been learning about it for a while, but am waiting on the remasters to come out before i start buying and playing), this LOOKS like it may stack well with Thaumaturge.... or it could overlap and be redundant, not familiar enough with the game to be sure. but from a RP and "coolness factor" standpoint i think it works well. would suck if the mechanics just step on each other instead of adding functionality.
i think rai is to lose 1 wound condition.
it weirdly written but the idea is to recover wound on your next turn

I've found it great for a swashbuckler who can get locked out of strikes after using a finisher

I don't think I'd allow this on a non-Surki character. It's a natural symbiote tailored to that ancestry's specific biology.

Probably not great for Kineticist, still good but considerably less powerful than the others.
