    Let's say you wanted to plug one of your retro units into this adapter, then plug that into a HDMI switcher. Would that cause lag, or input lag? Not sure if you have a HDMI switcher, but if you do, would you mind testing. That would be super helpful.

  • @dragonridley

    I'm looking around for the right converter to use from streaming. The demo you gave shows an output aspect ratio is 16:9, but does it retain 4:3 if that's the input? That seems to be an issue for some of these upscalers.

    • @RetroGamingGuy
      @RetroGamingGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't believe that it does retain 4:3 since I'm using a N64 with this which should be 4:3 by default. In this case I do prefer it altering it to 16:9 for the modern day tvs but I do see your point and why one would want that maintained.

    I have a question... like about a week ago, I bought this converter off of Amazon to fix the atrocious graphics I was getting off of my onn Roku TV(with the wii mini)... it had the plugs for the av already built-in, but the graphics were just awful... I tried with this thinking it was gonna fix the issue.. well it did, but not at first. I thought the converter was a bust... but then two days later, I noticed the graphical quality has somehow skyrocketed up! WAY up! and it might possibly still be improving somehow. . I want to know if you or anyone reading this knows what's going on with this? Am a little scared that this might be slowly breaking or something. It'd be nice to know what in blazes is going on.
    Edit: this is in fact a copy and paste from another video I also left this on. Just felt kinda paranoid enough to leave this disclaimer here in case I get accused of bot spam or something, lol.

    I just tried that with the PS2, the picture was dark and blurry. Everything else though with it, the picture was a sight for sore eyes. So, when it comes to PS2, I recommend the PS2 to HDMI adapter. One downside though, It does NOT support PS1 games. The RGB setting does NOT work with it.
