If you buy it with soundtrack it OBVIOUSLY costs 6.66$... love that guy XD
"5 years after Doom, like Half Life..."
Jesus, it struck me like a train!!!! Only 5 years between those two games, its like from Wright brothers airplane to Apollo Moon program!!! Such a leap!
"John Romero doesn't own the rights to DOOM" is a very sad sentence.
It is weird to know that this is more legit DooM than any Bethesda release.
A USB stick in the shape of 3.5 inch floppy disk would be awesome.
I love those little drawstring bags. They're the ideal lightweight, low-profile day bag. They're perfect for music festivals.
If you only have a couple things in there, it barely feels like you're carrying anything. Great for throwing in a hoodie and a power bank.
They make good gym bags because they are washable
Take a drink every time he says "fucking". 🍺🥴
I'm always down for Doom.
Forgetting the price? Quick Look tradition is being admirably adhered to. 😄
Let’s Gooo more Noclip Crew Content
I've never completed the original DOOM but Danny's love for the series makes me wanna go do that.
Dew it!
Hey Danny, I do need to mention it as it's the kick off of more Quick Looks. The secret sauce of the Quick Look format (for me anyway) rests on there being two participants; one who's played the game already showing their unsuspecting co-worker this new game. The conversational format is core to the Quick Look experience. I know it may not always be practical, but do believe it makes for a more engaging experience.
For those who had no idea this existed (like me), you can play directly through the enhanced copy of 1993 on Steam.
Sigil 1 and 2 is available as an ADD-ON within the game itself.
However, this version does not have all the features present in ZDOOM (including the soundtrack).
And in relation to the soundtrack itself, there are cover versions available on ModDB that are very close to the versions available on TH-cam.
11:47 - that eye wasn't fully triggered, the door didn't close! :P
Thorr nailed the music
16:53 Come on Noclip you know it's IDCLIP! To noclip out of there LOL I can't believe this.
Both this and Sigil 1 are available for free in the Add-Ons for the Doom remasters on all platforms. Bethesda seems to be on good terms with Romero.
Looking forward to Romero's unreal 5 fps. After his awesome doom guy book I'm all in as a fan to support great things
Dude I could watch you reminisce about doom for a while before getting bored.
Sigil was neat.
I got the midi version of Sigil 1 before Xmas and intended to just give it a quick blast to check it out, but i also downloaded Voxel Doom and a gore mod...before i knew it i'd completed it, bought the mp3 version, started an Ultraviolence run, then bought Sigil 2 and completed that as well. Glorious stuff.
kept looking for a hidden sigil eye in the background of the video
UV or die, Danny!
I AM WEAK
Meh, not everyone can handle UV. I forget Danny's exact age, but at my age (48 in 10 days) I certainly cannot handle the reflexes needed to keep up with the difficulty. That being said, some of these maps (and many custom maps etc.) are known for being really difficult and throwing tons of enemies at you (and the harder enemies in the game to boot). But if people enjoy that kind of challenge all the more power to them.
I play most WADs on UV but not Sigil 2 yet. It’s uniquely difficult
i love the quick play stuff lfg
I am bummed that Sigil 2 didn't use a soundtrack from Buckethead. I do feel Buckethead's soundtrack was not really a great fit for Doom, but there was some good tracks.
It’s quite funny that the normal way we used to buy games is now exclusive collector’s edition stuff. Well, the shotgun shell wasn’t normal. I think we just yearn for physical things because so much of our life has gone artificial.
First sigil had buckethead on the soundtrack
Wow it's doom souls like
/s
I can't believe Danny plays with texture filtering turned on...
Seriously. Lock that y-axis in GZDoom settings. You’re killing me here.
Should maybe just turn off mouselook
Ya turn off vertical look
And Texture Filtering too.
I can't, for the life of me, tell if you have an Irish or an American accent...
