Honestly, I always considered the Far Cry series as a top 5 FPS GAMES of all time. While there are a lot of mysteries and philosophy behind each game, I will always appreciate the work put into the series by the developers. Also, thank you for the mention in the video, I appreciate it👍🏻 PS: I confirmed that Vaas is alive since 2013.😂
I like to think of '' hell screams '' as less of a glitch and more as Jason remembering the screams of each man he killed. A reach, definitely, but i like it.
I've always wondered why devs don't put purposeful glitches in like that. Like I assume it's more complicated than I think but it'd add the wonder back to scary game mysteries since data miners couldn't just find the model or event trigger
Honestly a quite underated franchise. 4, primal and new dawn I find to be very underappreciated. A lot of people dislike the formula and the games, but I quite like them
@@thebananagamer56 I'd say the same. 4 takes practically every aspect of 3 (story excluded ig) and makes it so much better. People always say that the series fell off after 3, for me that's where it gets really good
@@starkiller6856 the mechanics new dawn adds work pretty well with the ubisoft formula. It's kinda similar to primal, pretty much the only difference being the health bar. The game kinda needs a medic bag tho
@@lukapetrovic412 I do agree on a medic bag. The level system kinda grew on me way more than six’s ammo system. Only issue I had was the boss fight against mickie and Lou took forever with level 3 Weapons and everything!
I’ve always thought the title, “Far Cry”, was a metaphor for the state the main character is in. The main character is always a far cry from help, so there’s nobody coming to save them if things go south. In almost every game, communication with the outside world is gone. Far Cry 6 has that scene in Miami where you hear about what happens over the radio, meaning that the rest of the world knows what’s going on there. You could argue that the world is scared of helping fight Castillo because that could start a huge war or something
I understand why people don't like Far Cry, because it really is repetitive and most of game mechanics stay the same or similar every game, but I really enjoy this franchise, the only FPS franchise better than Far Cry in my opinion is Metro And it's really funny that American christians were hurt by Far Cry 5 so much that they created a petition, because in other christians' eyes Americans are mostly cultists so real Christians from around the world actually have nothing against FC5 because it's not targetting Christianity, but a cult that was created in USA
Fun Fact, Far Cry's name actually stems from the first game, which was remastered, and the name stems from the Experimental drug created in Far Cry 1. Project Far Cry. Every other Far Cry game has some correlation to Project Far Cry. Except for 6, which pretty much retconned it.
When i first played Far Cry 6, i was basicly convinced that it would tie into the ending of Far Cry 5, and that it was from Yara the nukes were launched... Yara is basicly a direct analogue of Cuba, with most of the material surrounding it saying that it was a country frozen in the 60s. This would be an easy way to assume that a Cuban missile crisis type ending with a modern twist would happen, and Castilo would make sure nukes were launched if he died, and Diego didn't take over from him as he wanted.
The Jackal is not Jack Carver lol. The Dev’s quote about it is more nuanced than what you led on. His quote is “The Jackal WAS supposed to be Jack Carver”. He did not say “is”. His next sentence in that interview injects even more doubt about it so I suggest people just look at it themselves. When something is certain, people don’t say phrases like “..was supposed to be”
I don’t mind Far Cry series but Assassin's Creed always hold my attention over the years. Also because Far Cry uses gun almost FPS without multiplier which doesn't appeal to me 🙃
Unfortunately I don't know much about biblical stories & christianity stuff as that's not my religon so I would need to do a lot of research but right now, I am very uneducated.
Correct me if I'm remembering things wrong (and spoiler warning), but didn't Diego die at the end of the game after his dad (the main villain) shoot and kill him? I'm pretty sure that is the biggest piece of evidence that he isn't Vaas.
16:05 this theory has already been tossed out as we can see a older Vos in the post credits of the dlc or something i cant remember where i saw it i just remember i did
Im gonna drop a hot take rq, Farcry 5 has a really good story and villian but FC 5 has the worst gameplay of all the games. 1. The fcking airplanes spawning all the time with RNG ruining stealth runs and making traversing the map unbearable. 2.enemy AI is superhuman, if you take out a sniper after 15 seconds someone sees the body from ground level. 3.most weapons are useless. 4.the villians were all really cool but the story progression was garbage especially Faiths region were you get kidnapped only to walk press forward until the cutscene is over, the gameplay loop is really the most boring of all FC games. 5. Some side missions are meant to cause depression like, "find 6 deers and run them over and collect the meat" and then the game decides to not spawn any animals. 6. The guns for hire talking you to death and always doing some dumb shit like getting stuck on every corner like a dam gta san andreas character.

4 is actually my favorite. I absolutely love Pagan Min, reminds me a bit of handsome Jack from borderlands.
I remember I expected new dawn to be bad but when I played it I was blown away!

never thought you create a dedicated video on far cry
I love me some far cry
I thought Boomer died because in Far Cry New Dawn theres a cave with a tomb that says “Boomer” and has a dog’s paw marked in it

knowing that far cry 5 was on a petition to be cancelled baffles me as i always thought AC shadows was the first ubisoft game people wanted to cancel
I'd love to see you make more content about the far cry series great video
Dude huge props to your dedication
Keep making videos❤

i watched a video a couple of months ago where it was that farcry7 would take place in north Korea and play as a south Korean solider
Another brilliant video 🔥🔥

yep he did. thats why i dont like the theory, but i had to mention it as it was a talking point for a lot of people strangely
Far Cry 1 / Instincts had the best protagonist, dude had a Hawaiian shirt and got mutant powers
wait this isn't assassin's creed
I played far cry 3 for years. on 360, ps4, & PC and never knew Hoyt was the main villain 😂 always thought it was vaas.
Nah Vaas was just a pawn being manipulated by both Hoyt and Citra

The only true FAR CRY is what a franchise has become. A FAR CRY of a potentials that once game franchise was.
Changing farcry 5 into a islamic antagonist wouldve been so much more offensive😭
