good afternoon, I just saw your video and it really seems very good to me the use of that little motor. I would like to know if you made any modifications to the engine (apart from the throttle). I have a similar 450cc. and 16 hp at 3700 rpm.. The brand is Kushiro, similar to the Lifan that you have. I'm asking: is it possible to run it safely between 4000 and 4300 rpm. ?. From already thank you very much for your time. And congratulations for the work.
The upgrades installed are listed at the end 2:20. It is safe to run these engines at much higher RPMs than stock, but you will shorten the life and reliability. I would recommend however replacing the flywheel certianly as there are rumors that standard cast flywheels can explode at high RPMs so best avoided.
Yes this is a standard engine it is a GX270 with 2:1 Gearbox reduction equivalent. Many manufacturers such as Lifan and Loncin have copied this. The code for the engine shown is LF270-2R and they sell for about £300
No problems with oil at all. I have removed the low oil sensors in each build like this I have done so it needs to be checked regularly on the dipstick instead.
I'm flying the gx200 with the 2:1 gearbox in a trike, it makes 40kg thrust at 5000 rpm and is 16kg including prop. I found it needed the clutch to avoid braking parts!

Did you fly with this setup? Engine stock or tuned?
This is tuned, I give all the details at the end of the video. This was intended for a paramotor trike but was sold before being flown.
.That was nicely done. Also nice informative graphs. can you please let know of how did you measure Thrust and HP ?
I worked out the thrust and HP data by comparing to a Moster 185 and using the same propeller
What you used ,either reduction derive or what is is silver color instrument ???
And last question. The gearbox is already included with the motor kit? Is it the standard that is available on the market? . Again thank you very much

do you have issues with oil starve being 4-stroke? I love small motors but first time seeing them used forthis haha

I leave my like
Thankyou

What prop are you using? Did you get the prop and hub from arrowprop?
40 kg..... Yeah right
My engine is exactly 5 times as big and only makes a little over double that thrust
Sir price please
Hi dear Can i fly the mintrike on this GX engine please reply
Yes it would be ideal
Whats the propellers size and pitch
moster 185 1.3 meter for 2.68 reduction, I do not know the pitch
Will it really be enough power for a paramotor?
Yes definately, and for sale :)
How much power of this engine ??
Plz tell me about its rpm ??
Hi
Max rpm 2700
