DIY Four-Stroke Paramotor Part 1 - Honda GX200 (Loncin) Engine Unboxing and Test
Is this gx200 engine
Мужику надо недельку поголодать!
you look like no baby seal
Omg 😱
Try propeller 90 cm with pitch 11.5 degrees without rpm reduction.
Honda = Loncin????
Hi Adam, Can you share the schematics, please. I want to build one.
Check out the Jet Videos on ColinFurze channel as well as Tech Ingredients. They show you how to make it
Fond memories of this hill
Shite video mate
Great video friend, especially the snow angel ! at 2.55 😄
Conditions looked good!
Fortunately they were! Most other resorts had far too little snow at the start of the season and was too warm so I was rather lucky! It was not cold at 3400m and often over 10c in the town! Toasty!
Sir price please
Need big size wing or engeen more thrust!
Your flutter above 20psi could well be the hot side of the turbo being too restrictive causing the compressor to stall. You can check this by “bleeding off” some of your compressed air pressure and see if that improves it
Beautifully made video!
Could've kept and sat in chair and paddled with a garage fan blowing against your paddle blades and saved bookoo time/money gas 😂
Put a swamp motor on mine sir, atleast a 55 HP Evinrude 😂
Did you fly with this setup? Engine stock or tuned?
This is tuned, I give all the details at the end of the video. This was intended for a paramotor trike but was sold before being flown.
1800 rpm engine? really did not think that through too well.
Where did you get 1800rpm from?
what model are your oil pump?
Bosch fuel pump 044
😅
Don't know if you're still working on this but I bet you're losing some power due to slippage in the centrifugal clutch due to the high torque load. IDK which one you have on but a standard 3/4" centrifugal clutch will burn out if the pads don't stay in contact with the drum. A trick some go kart racers do is cut the clutch pads in half so you increase the amount of engagement of pad surface to the drum. You can also play with the spring force to get engagement at whatever starting RPM you want. Most are set to 1800 rpm, try going up to something higher. Another quick tip is to remove one loop in the spring, make a new hook end and reconnect. The reason you want to do this is to prevent the clutch pads from opening too early and burning out if the driven mechanism requires a higher torque. If you don't want to do that, try a Hilliard clutch or any of the other racing clutches that will give you higher RPM engagement, better drum engagement, and a multitude of sprocket opens to fine tune your gear ratios. Side note, run a standard stage 1 kit plus upgrade to a billet flywheel and connecting rod. You'll be able to push to 6k+RPMs all day and get to 15-20hp.
Ffs land the thing before you get hurt. Well underpowered
Trainer?
The tippy problem is certainly a product of the boat being small like a kayak, but built like a canoe. Still a fun project. I have considered using stainless as well, but wasn't sure how much I could trust it.
Nice looking engine!
Some tricky parts there friend !
Good job sir ji 😊
Thankyou!
Wee bit low on power 😂
Yes it was! I am not a light pilot either though...
You should deserve more views, how much did it cost to build?
Thankyou, I am hoping to build up my channel. It cost somewhere in the region of a couple of hundred pounds - mostly on fiddly bits like fittings and adapters, and could be much more cheaply bu built! I am looking to sell this engine to make space
wow amazing job man
Thank you! Cheers!
nice sticker friend
how many RPM and the test
3600rpm out of the box, but you will need to watch the rest of the videos to see what happens
what was the snow like? Was there enough? Anything more than trail skiing!?
There was plenty of snow at a time when other resorts in the Alps had to shut. There was powder off-piste skiing if you so wished
What was your EDF unit max thrust and what was take off mass?? It should have flown but something could be not adjusted properly.
It was a very cheap EDF unit not running on it's highest possible voltage and also had farily restricted airflow where it was installed. Later this plane flew great with a much bigger delta wing
do you have issues with oil starve being 4-stroke? I love small motors but first time seeing them used forthis haha
No problems with oil at all. I have removed the low oil sensors in each build like this I have done so it needs to be checked regularly on the dipstick instead.
Never let a machinist weld !!! 🤣 Nice one friend !
Very cool mate. Reminds me of the tin man from the Wizard of Oz!
Far too much time on your hands.. 😂
Is that home made Paramotor ?
No, but it was a very old Solo 210 paramotor
@@smad333 thanks for quick reply, what’s the best engine to convert to Paramotor please
@@NewKurDLanDлучше накопить на подержаный
hello! nice video! i'm building one myself, and can't wait to get it started! how much fuel pressure do you use? here in norway all i could get my hands on first try was a barbeque propane tank with pre-adjusted regulator to 30mbar, and i recon that won't be enough if the combustion chamber reaches over 1 bar :O
Hi you must use a higher pressure regulator. I would say 2 bar minimum and I am currently using a 4 bar regulator. I bought mine from Hamilton Gas Supplies, I don't know if they ship internationally
Hi....its the same motor LIFAN LF 270 2R 4 STROKE?? SALUDOS DESDE VERACRUZ MEXICO.
Sorry this is not the same engine, I bought a Nitro 200
Interesting sticker on the operating panel their friend. 🕊🕊

I leave my like
Thankyou
And last question. The gearbox is already included with the motor kit? Is it the standard that is available on the market? . Again thank you very much
Yes this is a standard engine it is a GX270 with 2:1 Gearbox reduction equivalent. Many manufacturers such as Lifan and Loncin have copied this. The code for the engine shown is LF270-2R and they sell for about £300
good afternoon, I just saw your video and it really seems very good to me the use of that little motor. I would like to know if you made any modifications to the engine (apart from the throttle). I have a similar 450cc. and 16 hp at 3700 rpm.. The brand is Kushiro, similar to the Lifan that you have. I'm asking: is it possible to run it safely between 4000 and 4300 rpm. ?. From already thank you very much for your time. And congratulations for the work.
The upgrades installed are listed at the end 2:20. It is safe to run these engines at much higher RPMs than stock, but you will shorten the life and reliability. I would recommend however replacing the flywheel certianly as there are rumors that standard cast flywheels can explode at high RPMs so best avoided.
Hi dear Can i fly the mintrike on this GX engine please reply
Yes it would be ideal
Congratulation brother
....а в штиль вообще бесполезно пытаться ))
Great video. Looks fun. I'm going to have to look this up. I live local so would be great!
You should!
Climb rate =2 ft/min
Not, it wasn't that much!
