What an extraordinary adventure that trip was. Thanks for sharing, and putting up pics of your journeys. Find it good to remember that fishing is about the places we visit just as much as we catch. And looks like Porthleven is a great place to be. Never seen those fish caught before either, nicely done. Well done for the helicopter trip, looked like a lot of fun. Best wishes, Kev
Yeah what a day, I left my house at 2.00 am and was fishing by 4.45 the roads were quiet so I did the journey without having to rush. I'd never seen so many sand lance and was so pleased to catch them. Must be something Cornwall get in big numbers and it was the first time I've been up in a helicopter it was a day I wont forget. All the best Mark.
Great spot for bass just to the rocky left of pier. We're local and fish there loads . How the hell did u manage feathers with a weight. Probably the snaggiest we fish off that pier . Great video

8:18 - Nicely done. That's a Corbins Sandeel. The Black bottom lip and no black spot on the head is how you tell them apart.
You're a wealth of information, I can't believe just how many types of fish you know. Thanks for leaving the info hope all is good with you. Mark.
