Thank you for the help I just checked the Macari one and it’s sold but these clocks the owl clock is very rare. I found one brand new in its box from the 1980s and got it for free because it was a friend that sound.
I’m planning on making a novelty clock very similar to your schoolhouse clock, but it doesn’t look like a regulator, it looks like a Junghans box wall clock, it looks just like the time-only wall clock with blue numbers, it’s from Locu Yinglet’s little clock museum.
Very cool movements in all of them, but very annoying with them all on. I have gotten a clock for my birthday that's singular to your owl clock, except it's battery operated and was made by the Bradford Exchange. It's a Minnie Mouse clock, and I have a video of it on my channel, which is the latest update on my clock and Lego collections.
I think the gears are plastic because 1# it was being serviced by someone and the whole escapement was broken and the gears where chipped and they laser cut new gears for it and cleaned it but that’s unlikely 2# is that they probly did that to prevent it from creating a lot of friction and creating some sort of substance that would jam the movement of the novelty coo coo clock
Thank you so much! I have a novelty grandfather clock that shares the same movement as the schoolhouse and the owl but it’s marked K. Keller Hufingan (correct me if I’m wrong, the writing is hard to make out). Definitely a mass-produced movement that went under several different names.
I found the owl one on Mercari, which is an app similar to eBay for buying used things from sellers online. You may be able to find them on eBay if you search "owl novelty clock"
These movements are riveted together? Are you sure about that? There might be nuts on the dial side of the movement. Although, unless there's little screws somewhere on the case, I don't know how'd you'd go about taking those cases off.

Mine don't keep time because the construction of the movements just aren't meant for reliable time keeping, but sometimes if you can get them juuust right, they'll work. I'm not sure that this case is homemade. I've seen a couple other examples of the mini schoolhouse clock on eBay. I think back in the day they were originally sold as kits, and you would assemble the case and put the movement in yourself. Various companies in the 80s did that for real-deal grandfather clocks.

The movements aren't all riveted! There are nuts at the front you can unscrew to disassemble to plates.

There probably sold as kits and with my novelty clock I just made a whole new pendulum because it did not come with one
