    Anthony Evans getting on that field... Too good

      Can't keep him on the field this year, man. Too dangerous.

    I think Anthony Evans could be what they thought Arian Smith was going to be. He might not be as fast as Arian but no matter who we are playing he would still be one of the fastest if not the fastest player on the field.

      Exactly 💯...

      Great take. Was definitely much more a real WR coming out of high school. Was not nearly as raw as Arian was.

    • @joshskelton3908

      Has better agility than Arian, not just a straight line guy, tho I think Arian will contribute more this season than his entire career at UGA combined

      Dillon Bell absolutely has to get better at creating separation against press man, he struggled vs Bama getting off the line but I fully expect him to improve now that he can focus 100% at WR like you said

    It seems that there's been major injuries to our weapons at receiver for the last 3 years. As I recall, that was an issue the last time we played clemson. Kirby has built a roster with so much depth than any injuries should not be more than a hiccup.

    • @dairyair5371

      If I remember right wasn't the whole receiver group injured?

    • @gloryuga

      A lot of injuries at WR going into 2021 and the injuries haven’t let up. AD Mitchell missing most of 2022, Ladd missing half of last season, Arian always banged up, and the list goes on. A lot of talented bodies to help with the attrition this year.

    I don’t think Z is gonna be a position battle tbh… Dillon bell is just such a consistent player maker who has shown to win in all three phases( even without being a crazy separator) & probably has the strongest hands on the team.

    • @gloryuga

      Yeah, I'm with you. I expect it to be Bell, but I will say that I have it on very good authority that Arian has had a heck of an offseason. Now, will that mean anything? Maybe not, but I think he will see a good bit more playing time than he has at any point in his career.

    Even without Rara, I agree it's still the best WR group, Colbie Young will step up and be that guy at X Anthony Evans getting more snaps as well won't hurt.. sucks to lose Rara tho which I imagine is what will happen

    • @gloryuga

      Yeah. I would prefer to NOT lose Rara, but if the charges are indeed true, he's got to go. On the field, we will be fine. I know it's easy to say now, but I've been pretty clear all offseason saying I think Colbie Young is that dude at X. Now it's just about getting someone ready to play behind him. If Arian and Humphreys have good fall camps, that might free us up to give Bell some looks at X.

  • @michealjones8236

    Route for Smith all you want. Can't teach stick hands. Either you got it, or you dont. I dont think he has it bro. There are a lot of good recievers on the team. Drop a few balls you could end up out the rotation. I like anthony Evans

    • @joshskelton3908

      So many things can cause a player to drop balls, with Arian the drops were mental, Ladd also had a drops issue he went through, it's not you have it or you don't, you can improve so many things to improve your catching but mainly it's mental focus

    • @gloryuga

      You might be right. History would say you are. But you don't give up on a skillset like that. Also have to remember, he missed 2-3 years worth of development time with injuries. I'm willing to give him another chance. Also think the dropped balls are played up to a degree. Hasn't really been an issue until last year and it stands out b/c he just didn't get that many opportunities, so when he dropped a couple, it makes it seem like it was a lot more than it actually was.
      I'm with you on Evans. Dude is going to by dynamic. Appreciate the thoughts and GO DAWGS!

    Teams don’t fear Georgia’s wide receivers. The Bulldog offensive dna is run the ball and play action to the tight ends. Kirby ain’t changing that for nothing or nobody. Your wide receivers are just for window dressing or running reverses so this video could have been over in about two or three minutes 😂.

    • @joshskelton3908

      You must not actually watch UGA games the past 3yrs, we pass more than we run.. and have top 5 offenses annually now, what YOUR describing is a false perception.. 🤣

    • @gloryuga

      You do realize that Georgia has had a top-15 pass offense and has finished inside the top-6 in yards/attempt each of the past two seasons, right? It's okay to just admit that you don't actually know what you're talking about.
