Jay was truly a phenomenal character in a show whose plot was actually not very ... deep XD It was all beautifully filmed and all, but it lacked "normalcy" in many ways, and Jay brought that to the table. I loved the character Gemini! I loved how Perth played the character and I loved his presence in the show. I also love how he was there getting all the tea from Kuea and Diao while also dealing with Lian. Perth’s facial expressions when he heard things he wasn’t supposed to (like when Diao and Yak had their first night together and Diao told Kuea who promptly blurted it out in Gemini’s presence) or when he was teasing Lian had me rolling with laughter. ❤ (P.S. I know Perth said he doesn’t remember the details too well but I’ve watched the series so many times now I’d be disappointed in myself if I didn’t remember some of them)
Me as a fan I think it's really cool when you kinda go back and tell us the experiences you had well working on certain shows. Cause to me you're a really good actor, and we would never know that you were actually nervous or anything. Because your acting comes out really cool. Hope to see you in another series soon. 🙂

I RAN to watch this video. I can't believe Cutie Pie and your character turned out so well with so many obstacles. There's something so poetic (and honestly reminds me of concepts in Buddhism) of everyone coming together dedicating their time and energy into a series and then dispersing even to the extent of no longer remembering the script or plot anymore. Meanwhile, the art is still so timeless.
I know this sounds weird, especially without the full context, but BL dramas changed my life. Having someone out here from shows I enjoy who shares the same native language makes me feel so connected to these projects in ways I didn't before. Always happy when Jay appeared! Perth really played the cool guy super awesome! Loved the appearance of Jay of the wedding ceremony. I noticed Jay wasn't in the picture anymore, when the kiss was happening. Funny that Perth mentioned that, I still remember Jay disappearing as if I watched the scene yesterday :D

They never failed at starting a sneezing fit for me. I had such a hard time holding back the sneeze until that swab was out. I was terrified of impaling my brain on that swab if I sneezed

Imagine, I'm a teacher and every week we had swab day where 1/2 my class was swabbed. Poor kids. Lockdown is like a dream of a dream of a surreal dream.

Also I just want to note that for some of us, the "fever dream" that was covid is an ongoing "fever nightmare" 😢 Long covid permanently disabled me and I battle new symptoms every day. Just putting that out there cause it's a huge sting realizing a huge chunk of the world just doesn't know or care.
As for Jay, he was my favorite part of Cutie Pie. The series was kitschy and cheesy in a good way and Jay's tv cool guy thing was adorable. JAY WAS THE CUTIE PIE
It has always amazed me how a professional actor like yourself, can get into character and stay in character while shooting a scene. Not only keeping in mind who the character is but memorizing all the lines. You certainly did a great job in both series. You are the best. Where I come from, we have a saying, more of a compliment, it goes something like this. Don't mess with the best; cause the best don't mess. Cutie Pie was the first show I saw you in and, therefore, the show that introduced me to you!! You were honestly my favourite part of the show, and I would get super excited whenever you came on screen, not just because you looked unbelievably good in that show but also cause I loved the vibe you brought to Jay. Also, that negotiation scene with Zee is my favourite scene in the whole show. I watch it all the time, and I love how cocky and confident you come off in it :)) But yeah, you did an awesome job in cutie pie, and I'm glad that I got introduced to you through it!!
