The scp foundation has many fronts, in the form of stores, services, and research facilities. The reason the names start with s, middle starts with c, and last starting with p, is because there is an amnestic property to these letters, that I believe makes people forget they ever saw it
SCP is a lot of things, most that are left unanswered, or depending on what they want, they can just say that it is a secret organisation.

Though not entirely. They seem different in certain functions and aren't as intelligent or proactively aggressive of spreading like the Flood are.
