My heart aches so much, I need to return to The Simpson just one more time before I shuffle of this mortal coil. I am so glad I rediscovered your channel. I’m going to watch this again now on the big screen and I can’t wait until the day comes when I return for my 5th & final crossing. Part of me will always remain out there ❤️💕💙
If that shot of the stars over the troopy isn't the best piece of video you've seen in a while.... wow. Love the cinematography and the calm vibes of your vids guys. Awesome work.
When you released this video in Feb, I'd spent the better part of a year trying to convince my partner we should do the Simpson as part of a trip we were doing around the Red Centre. We'd done tough trips before, but he was still apprehensive, and maybe slightly unconvinced that the Simpson was something we were capable of. A lot of videos of the Simpson portray it as the adventure it is, but in doing so inadvertently make it seem daunting. Your videos always strike the right balance between adventure and a sense of pervasive calm. We did the Simpson in June 2021. It was scheduled into our itinerary within about 20 minutes of watching this video. The moment we left the desert we started talking about tackling the Madigan. I just wanted to let you know that your work can, and does, create real change in the lives of other people. Thank you for creating and sharing this.
Really well done, proud of you both for both the adventure and the production quality, then thee was the dramatic music, the voice overs.. Fantastic Movie, Amazing Adventure. Bravo, Dennis.
Absolutely love the cinematography of this. I’ve spent this last lockdown running through my fathers old photographs and slides from when he was with French Petroleum and did the exploration in 63. He was a prolific photographer and I’m sure he would’ve been impressed.
Such a beautiful vid. It's those type of trips that you really and truely discover who you are. Just watching this video gave me piece and acceptance. Great couple beautiful video, such a beautiful country, thanks for sharing..
That was epic. I've watched a lot of Simpson Desert content over the last few weeks, and this has inspired me more than ever to go and cross it (further inspired to get a troopy as well...)! Epic film, I can only hope that it looks as good in real life as in your film. Will definitely have to watch more of your content...
Wow! So stoked i have just stumbled across you guys! Looks like i have a lot of catching up to do. Yes that time lapse of the stars was epic! Fantastic video.
Absolutely fantastic episode, the best video I've seen on the Simpson , that star time-lapse 👌👌👌. thanks so much for the effort you guys put in to filming and editing these 👍.
Thank you ombudsman this video is longer 😁😁😁. It look beautiful and peaceful, it seems like there's nothing else but you two. and you guys reached another corner.
haha glad you enjoyed the much longer video! :) Another corner, a very cool achievement! :) It really did feel like we were alone in the middle of nowhere, it was amazing.
@@WeWillRoam Yes. I would like to enjoy my cuppa and finish it before your vid ends lol. We love going to places with less people, this is the time to travel oz because of covid, less people. We cannot wait to travel n reach every corner possible. More vid pleaseeeeee ❤
Wow, Wow, Wow! From the beginning you had me hooked and left me wanting more. An absolutely brilliant score and as always the cinematography was spot on!
Amazing videos like always, very jealous of the cinematography skills you have and hope to be that talented one day, I'd love to know how you got the time-lapse or if there are any tips and tricks you can suggest as I'm driving out to Uluru in the next month and would love to give it a go :)
I was out there in 2019 when Eyre Creek flooded and impassable at at that same spot. Brought back wonderful memories thank you. Beautifully filmed....just subscribed.
Now that I rewatching this one and noticed you guys conquered the Simpson Dessert without the convoy 👏. The Simpson Dessert is on my bucket and hopefully, we get to experience it before we get old 😅
Why am I only allowed to like this once? By far this is my favourite channel out there. There has not been a second go by on any of your videos that I have not enjoyed. Thank you so much.
I’m just throwing this on the table...maybe it’s already on the table? You 100% need to start filming for a true documentary (ie NetFlix). This may require some camera upgrades but the quality of show you are putting out is better than most you see on Hulu, Netflix or Amazon Prime. This is far better than you think it is. Congrats.
Loved it... Footage was great... What drone do you use? Do you use your DSLR camera for your night sky footage. Missed doing what you did this year, hopefully next year. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
The best touring channel on you tube love your work you derserve more subscribers they don’t know what they are missing something to look back on later in life enjoy the moment
Nice film, I really liked your music choices, they really reflected the emotion of the Simpson. The desert looked spectacular and the track appeared to be surprisingly in good condition for a change.
Thank you Jason, glad you enjoyed it. Yes we were lucky that the tracks in the Simpson has hardly been used in the months prior so it was an awesome experience.
