Exactly.
Have you ever opened a project and you get the color bars over where the map should be and it says "reocovered"? Then it says "there is no mapcomp in your project" when there should be
Close out the project. Launch After Effects and then open the project via File > Open command. See if that works/

Hey man, great tips. I am planning to start working on a project using Geolayers plugin, however my project is in Arabic so i would like the information on my map to be in the Arabic script. Any idea on this?

Sometimes when I use Geolayers it uses 99% of my ram. (I have 64 gb ram)
Normally it uses only 40-50%.. But do you have any idea why I get those "ram spikes " of 99%?

Use the render time column. Or click on that snail icon in the lower left of the timeline panel.

First of all thanks so much for all of this content. I would be way further behind with learning this stuff without your free knowledge (and will definitely be investing in the master course).
I'm wondering if you are aware of any online communities focused on geolayers. I'm two days into an issue which I'm sort of at wits end with -my features look fine in playback, but when I render the project out the strokes/ polygons start going haywire with flicker. and I'm wondering if there is a better way to troubleshoot without endlessly logging support tickets.
Hmm sorry I don't know of any support groups. I would just keep going with the support tickets, as well as trial and error on your own.
Hello, how can I solve this problem somehow I can solve the problem. ''Too many tiles. The imagery coverage is too large for a single Mapcomp. Please consider splitting your animation to multiple Mapcomps.''
Whoa, is this an error message you see?
When I try to create a route between two cities using the connect features option it says "Can't create route. Unexpected token in JSON at position 0" please tell how to fix this?
When this happens to me I create a KML file in Google My Maps, which I then import into GEOlayers.
Hey nice video, I am facing problem " i cannot see the content of the geolayer3 panel when I load the already created project" is there any solution, I have tried restarting the app but still the problem doesn't solve although I have layers visible which were created from Geolayer3.
Hey they just released a new update. Update via the aescripts manager and see if it works.
Hey Boon, I am having big problems with the Mapcomp Imagery Preview on the right side of geolayers (the button ehre u can change ("change preview map imagery"), where I can see streetnames, it won't show up it's just grayed out. I can't work with that :( I tried everything, but it won't show up anymore :(
I noticed that there is a recent update with this bugfix. Do the update and see if it's corrected. 😎
Hey Boone, I recently updated to Geolayers 3 v 1.5.6. Problem is, now the world map comp preview doesn't show the map, just a gray checkered screen. Any clue how to troubleshoot/fix this?
