GEOlayers comes with many sample projects to help you achieve results quickly. This tutorial covers the Globe Sample project to make awesome geo-accurate 3D globe animations. This project requires the free ORB plugin from Video Copilot

It would be really cool to make zoom in from globe to close city look!! Great plugin though
I will purchase it right now if you put a zooming feature in it.
Could you please tell:
1. How to make this a vertical composition?
2. How to make it longer than 30 sec (Sample Project is 30 sec long)
1. The quick and dirty way would be to lust zoom out a bit more and simply do a vertical 9 by 16 AR crop of the main comp. If you need higher resolution, you need to crank in each comp.
2. You need to extend the duration of the main comp and all pre-comps to fit your need. Make sure that there are no hidden layers that you left behind.
PS: changing each individual layer and comp setting one by one is quite tedious, so you might want to use scripts for that.

If you link to the globe a 3D object such as Element 3D… how do you make it disappear beyond the horizon ?

Been having trouble with two things, would appreciate your help
1. I cant draw on my 01 texture layer it only allows me to draw on the texture spherical layer.
2. when i try and search for a continent like europe, in the geolayers panel it only shows me an option to put some useless pin somewhere in europe, not a shape layer that outlines / covers the continent.

i want to stick one picture into a specific place on map.
i used pin or parent but both didn't work.
when camera move on another place of map, that picture also moves. it didn't stick. please help for this problem.

i should stick up left corner of cordinate exactly to picture. this solved. but size of picutre when camera moves become different and this one didn't solved yet.

It's just simple. When you drow then make sure you drow inside the comp. So it would automatically show in texture comp
