I will say the vibe of my home COMPLETELY changed when I started putting photos of people I love intentionally around my home. It made me so happy, like my home was an aesthetic scrapbook haha!

leif talking about surfing is exactly how i feel about training for a half marathon! never thought i could run more than a mile but proving to yourself that you can do somethiing if you commit is the best feeling ever
jaci i’ve lived in socal my entire life and never been able to surf first day trying in hawaii i was able to get up and became OBSESSED with surfing

Also, Jaci I relate to your comments about “maybe it’ll be easier when the baby comes”. That was how it was for me with my two pregnancies. I get incredibly exhausted and unmotivated while pregnant and it was like the second the babies were born, I had energy again.. even with lack of sleep. There’s nothing like pregnancy exhaustion and it hits some of us women harder than others. You are probably right by feeling that way too. Having a child is definitely an adjustment but you will do wonderful🩷 and having an amazing, supportive partner makes all the difference. Leif sounds like just that. So happy for you both!!!
honestly understood what you were saying jaci ! I think you all have endured the hardest part of this. its Not that hard once you have the baby. there are moments but mostly bliss. so excited for you two.

I learned how to tailor my own clothes out of necessity. I’m a petite woman and I rarely find anything off the rack that fits. Then I gave birth to two petite humans and man, knowing how to alter their clothes has made such a difference. I even did it for a living for a bit. So, GO FOR IT! It’s so fun, too! 🥳🤗
Also, my husband and I feel yall on the religion aspect. He grew up Mormon and me Catholic and while we both left our churches at an earlier age than yall(16ish) it is still hard at times and we are both in our 40’s. It’s so wild! The guilt can run deeeeep and we still have to remind ourselves that it’s ok. 😂😊❤

I thought traveling with my kids before they could walk was a piece of cake! Once they're mobile, traveling with them is so hard until they're about 3 or 4. When they're babies you just bring them wherever in a stroller or a baby carrier. Especially if you get them used to sleeping in louder, public places like parks or restaurants.
