    What do you think? What lessons have you learned on your journey? I really appreciate you checking this out!

    I learned that every client is not the right fit for you. When starting out any event booked was great but now only focused on bride and grooms that I can vibe with.
    Pay your staff good and on time

      Yes great tip. Learning to say no is something that can take forever to pick up.

    All 100% facts!! People think owning your own business is glitz and glam. You gotta put in a ton of hours and energy. You’ll eventually get back what you put in but it take serious work and dedication. And yeah definitely ALWAYS remain true to yourself. Clients can see thru all the bs. Good video!

    Excellent! I am struggling right now, but I still believe in my ideas, goals and concept. The one thing I haven’t figured out yet is how I haven’t been able to close a deal! What am I doing wrong?

    I did not find this video useful for a single guy looking to start from a part time dj doing small events and what licenses and registration information you need to legally operate a small DJing service.

      Im not sure I follow your comment. I share things I learned, and didnt mention licenses bc that is what you need? Please let me know. Ill try to help you

      @@Jason_Jani Ive read you need a license to play music in public spaces, so wouldnt getting a license be a thing people should know about ?

    • @Jason_Jani
      @Jason_Jani  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is not someting needed in the usa. I have never got a licence to play music and have been a dj for a very long time.

    • @TylerDaSaint
      @TylerDaSaint 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jason_Jani Public performance license due to music being protected by copy rights. Im guessing if your not doing a major performance i shouldnt worry about it ?

    • @mjolles1976
      @mjolles1976 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TylerDaSaint You are talking about ASCAP and BMI which is the performance venue’s responsibility to have so recorded music is allowed to be played.
