#Scotland #Rugby - กีฬา
Finn Russell maturing as a player and leader is the real story of this year's 6 nations. He was immense, he is the back bone behind his Scotland team. How he marshalled his team, how he communicated with Rorty Darge his Co-captain, how he and his fellow three quarters worked together, his kicking game not just to get the ball to the wide players, but also through the posts. He is so impressive, I am sure there is loads of work on his own game behind the scenes. Well done Finn!!
"So often, the destroyer of English hearts!" Brilliant! The magical Duhan Van Der Merwe.
He's a typical South African rugby player lol
@@stubones Raging! 🤣🤣🤣
Even as a disappointed English supporter, it was a pleasure to see some incredible Rugby from Scotland. Duhan Van Der Merwe is an amazing player, I look forward to seeing him in a Lions shirt again.
Very gracious mate, respect. I grrw up most of my life with england dominating scotland so these last few years have been a real exciting pleasure to watch. Rings and roundabouts i suppose
Great comments - as another Englishman I’ve always respected the heart of the Scotland team. Just watched the highlights of 1971 when Wales won 19-18 at Murrayfield. Edwards, John and Davies scored tries - John Taylor kicked a last minute conversion from the touch line. Yet, Scotland without a recognized goal kicker, came within a missed conversion of denying Wales the Grand Slam. Terrific stuff.
@@dave55ides it really is a great sport to watch and the camaraderie between the teams and fans makes it special
💙 Veels geluk en mooi so Duhan! Congratulations Scotland ✨
Jones, Russell and VDM doing their best to dismantle England over the last 7 years
Commenting on my first watch of these highlights.
Excited to find it again the next 496 times I watch them over the next 6 months..
Are there any Scotsman who don't have a wee man-crush on DVdM? His 2nd and 3rd were Loma-esque.
There ain't anything Lomu-like with those tries.
@@stevenbissettI refer you to my answer below, beneath the comment "The Scottish Lomu".
VdM, South Africa is proud of you boytjie ❤👏👏👏
When an Afrikaaner sees that white jersey, they just go mad 😂😂
Calcutta cup is staying on our mantlepiece.
It’s been collecting dust because of how long it’s been sitting there 🏴
Don’t think we were anywhere near our best in this game, but the lads showed the maturity needed to come back from behind and also capitalise on England’s mistakes. 🏴
Great win. I'm still annoyed at the ending of the game v France though because that would be three more points and a very tight battle at the top. Ireland are still out on their own imo though.
No disrespect to Italy by assuming the result but the correct decision would mean a super Saturday grand slam decider and it’s ruined it
I love scotland ❤❤❤❤❤
Well done Scotland Congrats from Ireland!
Firstly, I am a Scotland fan but I must say there were periods when England looked not too bad; lots of silly mistakes; very good use of the bench and they stopped Scotland playing their wide open match. Dull game for neutrals but for the rest it was nail biting
Agreed, I thought their attack was decent for the most part. Certainly earlier anyway it looked much better
OK. Admit it. How much do you want to borrow?
As a neutral I found it very exciting
I’ve been to many games as a Scotland fan. That was quite possibly the best performance I have ever seen, Scotland absolutely steam rolled England.
😁 Get in there lads! 🏆
Love it... love it love it love it, one of the great rivalries in rugby.!!!! You whould not want to be in a Scottish team to lose the Calcutta-cup and one would want to be in the English team to win it back... make for great games, lots of history!
love it great rugby, I cant wait for the game each year and I am not even a Scot or English
Duhan Macvan Der Merwe! He loves whisky, braaivleis, black pudding and brandy.
Whisky.... whiskey is something else!
@@kraaidievoel o fok ja dankie hulle sal my hang, ek het dit reg gemaak.
The Boer bloodline rules world rugby
What the hell are the bunkers doing ? Van der Merwe's tackle looked legit , as the player was never dumped beyond the horizontal. And in the France v Italy game , Dante's yellow card was upgraded to a red by the bunker. Dante had wrapped his arms around the opponent's chest and turned his head just as he made the tackle, yet the bunker seemed to think that was dangerous . These constant changes to the rules is wrecking the game
Saxons pumped AGAIN!! Easy! 🥳🥳🥳
Yes! ya beauty!
Well done you magnificent Scotsman - Duhan van der Merwe -eks trots van Jou you klein boetjie!
Nick Heath yet again proving to be the best commentator of the modern era. This man's hu our led me through covid, and he's proving it beyond
It's great what you're DUHAN!
Van de Merwe in full flight is a handful.
Congratulations 🏴. You have England's number. Shame we haven't figured out how to use numbers 11 though 14. But that's boring, conservative, Borthball. Borthwick out!
Frankly, England's substitutes looked prety good, which begs the question: why weren't they brought on earlier?
There's nothing to ashamed of with Borthball. It almost got you to the final of the RWC. So enjoy.
Huw Jones, so aware!!!!
He played really well 👌
I love Saffa rugby
Shout out Dan Cole, that kick from Russell is absolute filth
He didn't have to break stride or move his hands to catch it . The precision of the kick took my breath away watching it live .
🏴
Great job! If you have time, come to France and show them how to make a summary.
Sloppy game but will take the win any day. DVDM, not from our shores but looks thoroughly thrilled to be playing for us and is welcome.
He gied them a right Duhan .
Two weeks is a long time in rugby. Great win for England v Ireland 🏴. Italia, Italia, Italia 😂!
Everybody loves a South African when his not playing for South Africa.
EXCELENTE..¡¡¡
Ireland still miles ahead of these teams there so disappointed wit a 24 point win yesterday but you can tell there missing a few. But they having even gave a team a losing bonus point yet. Thats amazing
South Africa breaking English hearts again. 😅😅
No bonus point again.
We need to wake up as fans and realise that the officials and governing bodies are not our friends.
3 games in a row that have had horrendous officiating against us to slow us down.
The Springbok talent coming in there ❤
It’s not the Men’s 6 nations - it’s the Six Nations
Looks like England have Scotland that win. DVM 2nd try was terrible from England
Scotland need to fix that hole between 12 & 13. It will cost them dear in the future
Up the Scott’s
Scots
7 years of pain for England Vs Scotland only 1 victory in 7 years against Scotland 😂😂😂😂😂😂
so rugby only started 7 years ago ?
Some of the Morris dancers in the comments section are pure dead bealin. 😆🤪😁
Scotland were sloppy again, they built up a good lead before 50 minutes then sat back. That should have been a 40 pointer against a much weaker side.
Where would Scotland be without their South African? Head and shoulder above the rest of the team lol
Darcy Graham has a higher try scoring rate and Finn Russell is irreplaceable at 10 just now. Enjoy the talent on show instead of being bitter about where players were born
Reminds me of 1314
I miss Bill McLaren!! Can we no have a Scottish commentator?
Any time the english loose is party time 😅
The Scottish Lomu
That's an insult to Lomu.
@@stevenbissettHow so? Lomu beat many a defender for pace, from inside his own half, in the 5metre channel by turning on the afterburners, and often came in off his wing to support a line break made by the centres. That's no different to 2 of Duhan's terrific trio yesterday.
The south african Lomu .....
@@stevemccrory9130 There weren't any fend-offs for starters.
@@stevenbissettGeorge Ford was made to look like a mannequin in Harrods' menswear department for the first, after the missed tackle (and before 2 players tried to jump on him) for the first. Ben Earl saw the vapour trail and bailed, while Slade was hitch-kicked into a missed tackle on the 2nd. And no-one on earth could have caught him for the 3rd, after Messi's GOD kick. The read, the vision, the execution, the finish. Quality won the game. Just because there was no Mike Catt to skittle doesn't detract from the original statement by SirBurger.
That potential Springbok is awesome
When you look at the England starting lineup, you know they are not going to win against a good side. Give Marcus Smith an opportunity instead of relenting with the ineffective and boring gameplay of Ford and Farell. If you want to rebuild, rebuild properly. Otherwise stick with all older players.
The best Scottish team to never win anything.
Like the irish? 😂😂😂
we beat eng
lol
South africa b did well today
soft yellow card
Cup kens whaur hame is!!
Unbelievable! Scotland fumbled, bumbled, stumbled and ultimately rumbled their way to victory. Had England kicked that last conversion I think Scotland would have crumbled. Disappointing match. Far too much kicking away of possession by White and Russell when you have very good backline.
I agree - it was not the most flowing of games. Apart from the 5 tries the game was a bit of a arm wrestle
Scotland would destroy the boks if they were to play each other tomorrow. Facts.
Ok now we're taking it a bit far mate..
🤣
Steeaaadyyyy
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 easy on the bottle there mate....
Sorry my friend but be realistic we are way behind Ireland, SA and ABs- our forwards are just not big enough and we don't have the depth of players - We are better than France at the moment - they seem to be in a dip (and even though they bet us). England have lost their way .
Wow, the difference one South African make.
Two (professional) team Scotland are proud to take any players that other nations don't want. It's all about how the coaches can construct the best team they can, in Scotland's case with very limited resources.
@@JamesRattray Wins a win I say ;-)
Fans are happy, Rugby is happy.
Look at Ireland, not good enough to field a team of their own... put 1/4 of the team in from somewhere else and boom, 1/4 finalists.
Just imagine if they had stuck to their guns and said, nope Ireland is for Ireland... be lucky to make the 1/4's
@@mark130471 I agree. It is all about entertainment in reality. I back team Scotland, coaches, players they can find and get great enjoyment watching , being involved and making comments as here. Just brilliant fun, especially when they win.
2023- 3rd
2022- 4th
2021- 4th
2020- 4th (England champs)
2019- 5th and threatening to sue Japan during a natural disaster
But hey as long as Scotland beat England they are happy 🙄🙄🙄 inspirational stuff enjoy there commemorative “trophy” 🎉
Would you like a pint of BITTER with that, Mr. Saul Ouzer?
@@stevemccrory9130 I just think the anyone but England mentally is embarrassing. Not bitter I knew we would lose I think Scotland’s golden generation should aim higher than beating England… now they will take their foot off the gas and probably come 3rd. Any thoughts rather than the generic “dry your eyes” reply? England will be back just need to get through these tough years like all countries do
@@C-gc5wrWe do aim higher🏴🏴. But it is so satisfying to put you in your place, 5 out 7, enjoying our moment in the sun👍😎😎🏴🏴🏴🏴
@@neilanderson841 ok 👍 🥴
@C-gc5wr ah c'mon now. Take the licks, England were pumped. And the mentality of "anyone but England" comes from 1. Historical dislike and 2 (Mostly fkn 2) is that we don't make the world's most annoying songs ft. James Corden about winning trophies. 😊
