the thing with all of the draw stiffeners is they all need to work in combination with one another for maximum effect. a front stiffener will only be so much; same for just rear only. they all need to be installed for them to work as designed. they are of course the last of the last mods done after everything else has been tightened/stiffened up. that's how I see it as that is what Subaru did on/wirh the S209.
Awesome you have the q300! There are not many videos with the WRX 22+ and q300. The sound was hard to hear though with the exhaust note. Any chance of an update video with better sound quality?
Unfortunately I have actually swapped the mufflers to a R400 now. Found the q300 to be almost too quiet. It was a nicer note but it was quiet. I went with the q300 as I had it on my G3 but that was in conjunction with a Downpipe too. I'll look into an update video shortly
I swapped to a second set of R400 mufflers so they were already broken in as such. They can be a little loud on cold start but nothing drastic. Car is getting JPipe and tune this week (about 2 videos time)
I dont think i had the car long enough to get a very good gauge on the before, but it does tie in both sides of the chassis well. The VB chassis in general is a lot stiffer than my 10yr old G3 and that had sway bar upgrades too. I will be doing sway bars on the VB in the future, which will probably make a larger difference.
Once I get the J pipe the front stock resonator will be gone. Ive also upgraded the mufflers to the R400 setup since this video. Looking at a Tomei setup in the distant future though.
@@sk0rpien haha. Hope you are enjoying the Q300. I don't know if it's because you had it on your car for a while but I've found this R400 is quieter than others, but I did it's almost perfect.

I've got sway bars planned in the near future, was just waiting on Whiteline to finalise their packages

@@VBWRXY How's the R400? any drone? have you any plans to fit a downpipe?

Your thoughts on the flex stiffeners and change in driving experience?

@@VBWRXY maybe your mid pipe is different to the r400?
@@sk0rpien they look identical onlines and in person, it should just be the mufflers, but im not complaining, still sounds good.
