hey man, your videos are gems. I want to ask what hdri's do you reccommend(studio ones, like the one you used here), and where to find them. Thank you!
Hey, amazing work man, i’ve been watching your tutorials recently, I am a blender user and recently I’m wanting to switch to octane for blender, do you think all these techniques can be used there aswell?
Thanks man! For the most part it will, as long as you handle the switch in process a little bit and can apply whats in this tutorial to blender you should be fine. With every software having most things named or placed differently it can be a bit jarring trying to follow but always worth giving it a go.
did you recreate the label yourself? i noticed there's a very minimal amount of high res labels from brands like prime, coca cola and fanta available online so was wondering how you did it!
I used these assets mate - www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/food/beverage/drink-prime You're right creating the labels is a massive pain I wouldn't recommend doing it when you just want to have some fun utilising the asset. Even if you had a drink can client, they'd be providing the label. The utility of doing it yourself is a bit pointless and is never going to come to fruition, just buy the models!
Haha yeah 2x 3080's. I'm pretty sure when you have one card running the displays and another just for Octane to soak up it reduces a fair amount of input delay
hey man how you doing, great stuff as always. and i just wanted to know if you have done the narration later on after recording the tutorial. i have been seeing content on your channel for a long time now, and just wanted to say it out, coz i respect you from all my heart. but this time it felt little bit off to listen to you recordign this, i hope everything is okay and this got great insights to learn just like any other video you post. so just wanted to ask you if you doing okay. earlier your videos packed super energy, that's the reason i wrote this. hope you take it in a good way . :) cheers
Haha that's really sweet man. Everything is great in life. Not as used to narrating over the top of the video so I'm definitely not as slick with my speech as I am usually so that's probably why I sound less sharp. Also this took me about 4 attempts to record and I was getting so annoyed lol. Got there in the end!
Felipe Batemarco is the name, can be seen in the top left and via the email of the Behance page you put on screen 0:52
great as always👌🏻

It feels cans are battery size you should need to work more on relative scale to make it more beliveble
The goal wasn't to make them to scale. Much like the reference :)
