    The best part of the Acadia is the ride and acceleration. One of the smoothest and most fun to drive vehicles in the segment.

    Great interior! I like my 2015 more because it’s much roomier. Love how you pan across the dash a lot. Many reviewers get tunnel vision and miss the beautiful wood grain, leather and stitching, cocoa and dune colors etc..👍

    Our neighbor has Acadia 2013, he was using roughly and don't slow down on humps, the warranty here in the UAE is 100000 kilometers, and he was servicing it on time at agency, and just after 105000km , the steering system failed!!!, And they charge him to fix it, is this planned by factory?

    Why is it that Chevy has LED but gmc doesn't? It funny that not even the Denali give you LED but Chevy Premier and High Country does. Wow

    • @MikeHanson
      @MikeHanson 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Traverse premier also has independent climate zone controls, you can select which vents to use individually. Wireless phone charger. Hidden compartment behind the touch screen. The acadia is nice but pretty underwhelming compared to the 2018 traverse imo.

    I really wish more brands would package features the way the Japanese do. Safety systems should be standard on most trims instead of optional on the higher trims, and there should be LED headlights at least on the Denali to better compliment the chrome. Overall it’s a good vehicle but value is somewhat weak compared to to Pilot and Highlander

    We bought a 2017 Acadia Denali back in April 2017 and its been flawless, love it. But I wish I could disable the GOOFY AFM feature. I bought a V6 not a V4. GM allow the owner to turn this feature OFF. Having said that I easily get 30+ MPG on long trips and love all the tech and the BOSE audio system rocks.

    • @fidelbanuelos9601

    • @kubi0461
      @kubi0461 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I assume you mean the cylinder deactivation. To be honest, if you are noticing it engaging/disengaging then something is probably wrong. The first year (2017) did have some issues with it that they had some service bulletins for.. things like vibration when in 4 cyl mode. Personally my 2017 all terrain was super smooth and fast at transitioning.

  • @OffGridInvestor

    Surprised it even has a 4 cylinder. On the rare occasion either ford or holden (GM Australia) will bring over a big yank tank and sell it on the domestic market. Before they have been HUGE prices but I think the Acadia (first year we've had it) is a fairly decent price. Although we have horrendous fuel prices here, they always seem to give us the bigger engine and we find out that there were smaller engine options but only in the USA or elsewhere. I hope we have the 4 cylinder but I'm yet to visit the dealership. Will be a good second hand buy for me in future by the looks of the space in the back. Btw I do more moving my 3 cars around in my own driveway than your "test drive".

  • @Tully3674
    @Tully3674 6 ปีที่แล้ว +19

    No LED taillights? That's inexcusable at both this price point and for the brand - and it's a Denali! Also, no side turn signals on external mirrors. Safety features for OTHERS to see you and they don't exist. In general, it looks like GM bean counters are back as in pre-2008. And we all know, in part, why GM went BK in 2008. Need to get the engineers back in control .

    • @JBM425
      @JBM425 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      When they did the refresh in 2017, they shortened the Acadia by a few inches, which helps it achieve better mileage (and handles a bit better) than its larger siblings the Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave.

    For GMC being General Motors truck Co. I feel like they have waaay too much fwd drive vehicles in their lineup not to mention they have that even smaller fwd CUV coming in the future. GMC should just scrap all of their fwd vehicles and start making rwd trucks and SUV's instead

    • @mybro727
      @mybro727 5 ปีที่แล้ว
