The animation directly supports how well the writing of this show is delivered, the "sloppy" and almost rotoscopic style allows you to perceive nuances in the characterization and expressiveness of the characters, several scenes, otherwise most of them simply would not work in a traditional style.
yeah it's actually crazy to think that human beings like us are actually creating masterpieces like that while we're doing absolutely nothing and wasting our time in the TH-cam comment section

They also appear slightly on kazama's shoulders when he gets out of the bus on the beggining of the second tournament. It can be something just artist related (i imagine the frames and the scenes weren't draw all by the same person). But on the other hand, it can really have a meaning. Anger maybe? I really can't get my head arround it.

そう考えると、期待しているが故に、アクマ将来的に常勝海王の看板を背負って立つことに対して心配をしてるからこそ出たセリフなんじゃないかと思えてくる。

個人的には1番心に刺さるシーンの1つです。
@@wata9884 ドラゴンとアクマの才能は(一般人目線では)天地の差ですが、孤独な努力家であるという点において彼らは非常に似通っています。
スマイルとの練習試合で負け、プライドも熱意も壊されたアクマに対して(傍から見れば)非常に冷酷なスタンスを取っていたドラゴンですが、内心ではアクマに｢未来の自分｣を見て恐怖し、その事を考えないようにしていたのかもしれません。
実際、ペコに負けて以降のドラゴンには以前の闘争心は見えなくなりましたが(少なくとも作中の描写においては)、比較的幸せな転落だったように見えます。
もっとも本人の心境は複雑なようですが笑
