Why are they having a debate over a vote for a ceasefire in Gaza, which...let's face it, will make absolutely no difference whatsoever, when our own Country is in the state it is in?

She’s right in this case. Labour shat on Scotland 🏴 today.
just goes to show they couldn't care less
They care too much. Kier was so scared of losing one vote he did a bent back room deal with the Speaker & this lot aren’t having it. When else do you see Tories & SNP agree about anything?
We all need new leaders. Enough of these self serving fools. This reminds me of the Skeksis in The Dark Crystal.
Ive seen more maturity in a nursery
The Guardian doesn't really want a ceasefire, so of course they will report chaos.
Since when did the UK pass judgements based upon which side can shout the loudest?
U should have migrated to Yemen instead of UK!
save u cultural shock.
This is a waste of my tax. Stop wasting time and money on matters that are not a priority for Britain.
It just goes to show that labour have given a back hand to Lindsay. Now he needs a vote of no confidence and kicked out of the speaker of the house. Now he needs to go. This is worse than John.
All credibility is lost. Complete shambles. The only thing required now is an eulogy for the house and institution.
Tory swill.
What is wrong with calling for a ceasefire??? Or putting it on the vote???
It scares me knowing our country is run by a bunch of boomers shouting yeah or no like it was primary school
Lindsay Hoyle should channel John Bercow more often.
His only mistake here was apologising for challenging the orthodoxy.
The procedures are to safeguard democracy and ensure entrenchment doesn’t occur.
Rules must be followed, unless you prefer anarchy.
Perfect example of who's really in charge of the British government.
If you want to know who's in charge, find out who you can't criticise.

So this is a taste of how a Labour Government would work , what a load of 🤡s
In fairness wasn’t it all the SNP?
@@glasgowmcglasgowfacevotegr7049The SNP represent a lot of Scottish voters & in their wisdom they now have a Palestinian family running Scotland.
shambolic
Hey ! Don’t look at that over there. Look at this over here ! Why are the mono party “ fighting” ?
The defence of Starmer by some in the Graundad was laughable.
This was nesscary wasnt it? Im not too versed on politics but if the speakers vote had gone unchallenged it would of set a new and or undermined current precedent. Essentially allowing the speaker and whomever their allegiance to undermine current government rulings or force their hand into making one?
Overall it was needed...I think, you couldnt help us out could you?
It's like watching school children in the playground !!!
How ON earth can one vote against ceasefire?? Inhumane
I'm struggling to understand how on earth this is at the top of agenda for debate at this moment in time and can only think it is one big deflection from the LONG list of serious concerns the public have, which require addressing, under the current government. At what point does this become very obvious? Why are they having a debate over a vote for a ceasefire in Gaza, which...let's face it, will make absolutely no difference whatsoever, when our own Country is in the state it is in?
Absolutely. It's pandering to minority interests.
Our country passed Balfour declaration which paved way for formation of Lehi, Irgun, Haganah, King David Hotel Bombing, Suez Crisis, Lavon Affair, formation of PLO in 1964, formation of Hamas in 1986 and a whole lot of massacres and carnage eventually leading to the 2023 conflict between Israel and Hamas. Our government is still funding and army Israel while a genocide goes on there.
We do so love to get involved in every aspect of the world
Maybe we see ourselves as the responsible ones
@@SamuelBlack84maybe its because they are responsible 😂😂😂😂
@@AS-mq5cs A conscience gets you nowhere in life
A small stubborn state (us & uk backed up) not only made this parliament down to chaos.
This world also already chaos
Coof rules extension also went through on a nod.
Meaningless squabble, over a meaningless bill by a meaningless parliament.
Shame our overpaid politicians cannot be this passionate for what is happening here in uk!
Guy laughing at start 😂
