Very nice informative video Rebecca & thank you for the same. In fact I hv been offered a job in Irving, TX and this video was very useful... God bless u & ur family.
I'm glad I watched this video. Texas no longer appeals to me. I also watched another video speaking on M.U.D. (municipal utility district) where you pay exorbitant property tax to pay off the bond. Utilities sound high and health care cost seems to high as well. I was also shocked on meat prices considering there should be a lot of cattle ranchers and access to fresh and local meat.
@@RebeccaValera thank you so much! You know I'm just praying I can find a place that is balanced and rational and somehow normal whatever that means these days. I just want to live a peaceful life...lol.
That's true about the small towns, I from Texas and I have relatives that only pay 207 a year in property taxes, they live in a small town, where as I'm paying 3k a year, I live in the metroplex, it makes me mad that they only have to pay that much, I think it should be evenly spread out
Miss Valera, just out of curiosity, does Texas have any state health insurance program for people that can't afford private health insurance or employer sponsored health insurance just like California has Medical for people that live in California that can't afford health insurance on their own as far as private insurance or any employer sponsored health insurance. Thank you so much. Hope to hear from you.
@@RebeccaValera Oh I see. Cause in California they have Medical for people that can't afford health insurance a d if you need a doctor, you could see one and even get prescription medicines and consultation with the doctor for free. Even the medications are covered by the state. So, Texas don't have anything like that at all, right Miss Valera? Thank you so much for your response by the way..
Thank goodness, we are moving from NYC so all I need is like minimum wage and I'll be living like a king! Ha ha! Okay, maybe that's a bit extreme but a 20% cut in pay is still a pay raise.
Do you work with apartments or just houses? What about apartment/ condo rentals? What areas would you suggest for a young, single person? (I'm more conservative in my ways but I still want to be able to meet people). And don't worry, will NOT be bringing those Yankee policies, politics, ways with me! :-)
Thankyou Lady Becky for this powerful presentation
Great content and very informative.

@@RebeccaValera - Don't worry. We're not bringing the ridiculous policies with us.
unfortunately most of these actual numbers are scary... so what happens to those making 30K a year or lower
Just watch the property taxes.. they'll be as high as the mortgage.
@@RebeccaValera How high can they get compared the rest of the country?
