"Larger British Moths" oh my, I love a good specialty naturalist/taxonomy guide! Thank you, Natasha, for giving me another nudge to getting my work office/art space into better shape for creativity. I have things like all the books, organizing bits, art work of others and my own, and a mascot! I just need better lighting and more "cozy", with a better set up of all the things that are important, and donate/put away the uninspiring clutter that has crept in. A work in progress! :)
I have to declutter regularly (I either sell things or give them away) and it does feel good to edit things down a bit. Makes it a little easier to keep it all organised!
Refreshing, lovely, peaceful, organised, and so beautiful and cosy❤ wish i had a little space, too for my practice. Thank you for sharing your safe space.
I would love to know the artists behind the postcards (especially the colorful ones at the end) and the amazing armadillo mascot! It's so cute. You have a lovely studio! Thanks for all the tips.
That was a lovely video Natasha! Really enjoyed that. Of course being a librarian I was fascinated by your bookshelves! ❤️ You are a delight to watch and I love your work. Thank you for allowing a peek into your studio. It is beautiful as are you. Take care. 😊
Natasha, you've created such a warm, inviting studio space for yourself that's just beautiful!!! It must be impossible to resist going in to work every day! I love your inclusion of books for reference and inspiration! Candles burning create a sense of peace and mascots to keep you company ♥️ And so well organized! Sending you lots of love from Costa Rica 🌄😘😘😘
Your studio is beautiful and so well organized. IKEA has so many good storage options that are affordable. I have two of the white carts as well, but I bought them at the Container Store with lids for the top shelf and there are a myriad of small bins and cups that coordinate with them. I also love to have books around me. People who don’t love books are like aliens to me🤔 Having small artful objects reminds me that there are beautiful and unique things in the world and creates a haven. I love the crisp white walls and natural wood in your studio - and of course that view! Sigh. Thanks for sharing😘
Thankyou for this relaxing studio tour. Just what I needed more than youll ever know. Arnold the Armadillo did steal the show for me. Loved the books and your ember scent candle. Stay happy Natasha.
In watching this …at the end of the video is that beautiful turquoise dome that goes on that little tower that you can see from your studio. Have you ever thought about including that in some of your artwork scenes ? I just love seeing it ..and it must be so inspiring to be able to look at that every day.❤️
Thanks for sharing, Natasha! Helpful to see how you store things. May I ask where did you get the wooden wide drawers for large sheets of paper? Or were they custom built? Maybe this will be in the next studio tour video.
Natasha, you have a lovely studio. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to share it with us. I also have and love the IKEA carts. Blessings and thanks from Oregon USA.
I was just looking out into my backyard at the shed I have that I've been wanting for 2 years now to turn into a small studio. Then I saw your video! Must be a sign! Your studio is absolutely beautiful ❤
Thanks for sharing your space, Natasha 💚 Myself, I’m suspicious of any workspace that looks too perfect and untouched - your “mess” is much prettier than mine (ha ha), also a beautiful reflection of your process underway and your personality as an artist and a person of wit and depth. What a lovely space where you can make wonderful art!
Lovely! You've created such a wonderful space. My own workspace is my dining room table, but I am getting ready to convert an extra bedroom to a studio space. Your space is certainly an inspiration!
This video was so timely for me! Just spent a couple of days trying to declutter my studio and organise all my supplies and was looking for inspiration! Your space is is so calming and beautiful, Natasha. I also have candles, lots of secondhand reference books but way too much clutter! Looking forward to the extended version. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful space! You've inspired me to look for ways to "cozy up" my space! While I don't have room for a book case, I do have walls for a couple of book shelves. It won't hold all my books, but I can at least have my very favorite at hand. Thanks so much for sharing your space!
Beautiful video Natasha! ❤Excellent tips for making a creative workspace, and I especially liked the dive into your bookshelves! I always love a studio tour (even when it’s one I’ve helped to decorate!😁) I look forward to the upcoming big studio tour! 👩🏻🎨🎨📚🔍❤️😘 xxx
A dream studio! I’ve followed you for AGES on instagram and then the TH-cam algos suggest me this! I’m now keen to turn a small corner of my flat into a little studio - so much inspiration in this video! Also. Who is the artist behind the artwork in 2:56 of the trees? It’s wonderful. ❤
That’s a beautiful studio! 🤩 I only have a corner of my kitchen to work in and it’s always difficult to get a quiet moment. I recently reorganised my space to have everything at hand, (including a jar of water always ready for my watercolour paintings 😅) which helped a lot!
Wow there is so much warmth and beauty in your studio. I can't imagine having that many brushes. Do you use only some of them; are they separated dependent on your medium. YOU inspire me...🙏
Thank you, Barbara! I often buy new ones when they're on a good offer, so I have several new brushes just waiting to be used at some point. I use lots of different mediums and tend to have different brushes for them. :)
My office is also where I create. It’s tricky combing them both but I’m already trying to combine the two by adding to my art book collection after seeing your tours and book posts. Grayson Perry, Eric Revilious, Kahinde Wiley and Winston Churchill are all sat next to each other 😂Imagine that dinner party combo!
Such a beautiful and serene studio space😍 Love all your books, i love to be surrounded by books too. I've recently bought several storage solutions to put into my little studio space........hoping it will eventually be as cosy and inspiring as yours looks🤞🏼 Thank you for sharing🙏🏼
What a beautiful studio space you have created! ❤ Thank you for sharing your tips, it helps us who are still in the early stages of trying to figure out an art area. Love your videos Natasha! ❤️
You've never seen my "unedited version of a messy desk" 😂😂😂 Loved to see your art and working space. I hold on to my dream of having an art studio one day 🎨😍
Lovely video as always ❤, do you know the name of the artist who did the paper cut art? Also i recommend you to watch the video from Michael Halbert "lino cut print of a landscape including the st. Luis Skyline | printmaking" for your tipe of art style and the videos of Laura Bowell on linoleum
What a beautiful space! I love the studio mascots as well! We are obsessed with jellycats, my daughter could set up her own shop 😆. I am currently on the hunt for some desktop drawer to help with my storage space. Very inspiring and cosy video. X
Jellycats are so cute and quirky! I love all the little fruit and veg ones...and the patisserie ones...and the toadstools...and the trees...shall I go on? ;) x
@@NatashaNewtonArt oh my gosh I completely agree, you would love her collection. I have a little boiled egg one with a blush face and a Brie my husband got me 😆. I could spend a fortune on them. x
May i ask: the beautyfull tin-candle Looks Like the perfect sent for me, where did you geht it or wich Brand is it? Your Studio Looks so cosy thank you for sharing a bit of your little Paradies with us ❤️
I love your channel. I saw all your books and was intrigued by the one called “I’m totally wild for you. (Valentines edition ) Where can I find this book? 📕
i have a big library lol book sin the main room and books all over the rest of the house lol😆 can we really call ourselves an artist if we dont have one of those 3 tiers trolleys? lol😝
“And by library I mean anything from two books upwards .” That is a very specific definition of library.
Well, I guess one book does not maketh a library.
@@NatashaNewtonArt 😂😂. Indeed!
Your studio space reflects you as an artist. I can see how your lovely art flows from this organized and peaceful retreat.
Thank you so much, Wendy! I feel very fortunate to have a lovely space to work in.
I actually love the look of a messy studio, but I must say there is a veeeery fine line between what is a gun mess or just a clutter of chaos 😂
True!
Always enjoy seeing your lovely studio!
Thanks so much, Stephanie!

I don't think I'll paint it but I do love looking at it! It's a beautiful view.
Great suggestions as I look to create my own space. I look forward to your next studio tour.
What a lovely space! I have room mascots as well! Mine are an owl I picked up in Vermont (US) and a hippo that once was my little sister’s. 💕
Aw, they sound lovely!
Also, I see by your fabulous book collection that we share a love of ghosts!
You have eagle eyes! (I'm very interested in the paranormal).

The brand is St Eval and they're based in Cornwall, UK. :)
I love your channel. I saw all your books and was intrigued by the one called “I’m totally wild for you. (Valentines edition ) Where can I find this book? 📕
That's a Valentine's card from my fiancé! It does look very convincingly like a book. :)
What is the spelling of the artist who made the bunny painting please? 😌 I love the style and would like to look them up
Cathy Cullis. :)

Literally every artist I know has one of those three tier trolleys!
they do come in pretty handy 😀
Consider purchasing storage from the UK based co. SUKIE. They sell vintage office storage and ephemera.
I'll check them out!
