    Can I request that in future videos the music not be so loud.. I have it turned up to hear you talking and then music starts blaring.. I don't see the need for the music.. I hate videos with it especially when there's 2 different volume levels

      I appreciate your feedback, I am aware that this needs to be better, thank you for pointing out. I'll try to level the audio more in the coming video's. 🙏🏻👍🏻🎥

      It was so useful, did not expect that it was a 2 month job, learned so much, now I can build another mast definitely easier. ✅⚙️🔧⛵

    I had no clue that these old Dufour's were decently build. Good luck with the process.

      If you read online about them their owners speak very highly of them and the small arpege has made circumnavigation.. if you Google their history it seems like they should be more well known than they seem to be and the layout is the best use of space

    Zep products are costly but well worth it.. I would use citric acid to clean anything aluminum or fiber etc. It's not corrosive like muratic acid but it cleans everything well and it's biodegradable

    Perhaps you can help Mark from Wildling Sailing with finding a marina in the Netherlands. He bought a whamaran that's never been completed and having trouble finding a marina that can get it out of the water and will allow him to live and work on his catamaran...

    To refit the mast, repair the roller furler, rewire and rerig with new rigging for around €2000 is cheap as chips.

    • @sailingsilverwind
      @sailingsilverwind  ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome comment, yes, for me it's a lot of money, but it was one of the most cost efficient ways to do it (mostly) myself.

    do you have cables for wind instruments on the mast ?

    • @sailingsilverwind
      @sailingsilverwind  ปีที่แล้ว

      So, this is actually something that I didn't found yet. The cables are in the mast, but it's a 'SIMRAD IS 15' and the wind receiver is not in stock anymore. 😅😪 Hoping to find one online someday.

    I would not want to sail with 50 year old rigging anyway
