- We wanted to see whether Larissa from our marketing team could lift and close a fully loaded Thor Roof Conversion (load bars, roof rack tray, solar panel, table & spotlights). We feel that we’ve really nailed the gas strut balance with this one.

We do offer a Roof Conversion for the Troopy, our Hercules Conversion (www.alu-cab.com/product/hercules-roof-conversion-2/). Our Side Boxes provide more space for gear.
Hello! Nice! Is it conceivable that Alu-Cab will build a roof tent similar to the Ursar Minor for the Jeep Wrangler JL in the near future? We have a 3.1 but would like to do without the ladder and climb up through the inside.

@@alu_cab I have watched a video on You Tube of a guy who has adapted one of your rooftop tents to fit on a Jeep Wrangler with inside access very much like on the Thor. By the way for hot climates like Botswana can this roof come in white or silver as black would be intolerable in summer?

I own a canopy camper - this exercise is impossible! My wife can’t open the roof at all, I have to stand on the top of a ladder and lift it in power lifting style. The lifting weight is 30kg I Guess. Dampers have already been changed. What to do?
We have a canopy camper on a Jeep Gladiator. My wife has no problems opening the roof. Closing wa a challenge in the beginning, but with some practice and finding the right handling, she's doing it easily now. So, no, it's not impossible. My wife is 170cm, 55kg, ...
Can you PLEASE make conversion kits for chevy astro vans? You have pretty much everything im looking for in aftermarket overlanding products.
I have an AWD passenger model astro van that i live out of when road tripping across canada/US with the Dutch doors in the back, and have been wanting a poptop for my astro van for a long time now but haven't been able to find any conversion companies that build for it. Would love to see you guys outfit the astro with all of these features.
I'm also eyeing up those molle plates infront of the windows. As well as the window cabinet conversions on the side. I would be willing to part with a window or two for those cabinets.
Also I'd love to see you add molle plates to the underside of the loft/bed so that way it can provide even more additional storage options from the basement cab.
Please keep the chevy astro in mind for the future. I know its a dated vehicle but it has an incredibly large cult following and with this kind of innovation, would breed new life into the van!
