I don't know what the fuss is about calling it a hyderbadi biryani and adding onions or tomatoes in it. Meanwhile our traditional cultural momos is literally being remixed into whatever all over India and they add anything inside it and then label and market it as MOMOS, stuffings such as paneer or momos such as chilli momos should be a crime but then again, if our Indian bhai's and behen's like it then why should we have a problem ?
Don't call it as hyderabadi biryani when you are mixing tomatoes...also no water is added for cooking. Its a unique style called DUM that gets from the moisture of the mixed ingredients of the meat,ghee etc..to cook entire rice and meat as a whole process.. don't simply spoil the brand of Hyderabad..
