    Couldn't find the dpf gun there earlier in the week - so I used the big manual oil-extraction/filling "syringe" instead to get the fluid in - worked just dandy with an adaptor jammed up the end so it fitted the DPF pipe. If you don't have a compressor fed DPF gun, a Sealey oil-sucker syringe will do the same job, or maybe even better.

      Look up for JLM DPF gun that will be great. I’m using for the past 5 years

    Here in the states there is a product called Archoil 9500, fleets have found that using this in every tank reduces regents by 50% and thus extends the life of the emissions systems. Do you recommend any product like that?

    I’ve not seen you replace a DPF yet, do you ever do that? Or take one off to back flush it , And what’s your opinion of aftermarket ones compared to OEM. Thanks.

    try WD 40 on the hoses , put pick down side of hose and it will get in and slip off easily .

    I have Toyota verso S 250 000km. Shop took DPF out and cleaned it. Water pressure on the cleaning machine dropped from 24 to 13. I am not sure about those numbers and units(phone call). P2463 is still on. Do you think that DPF is too clogged up and new DPF is only option?

    Unfortunately this is a temporary fix the only way to remove ash is to do off the car DPF cleaning with reverse flush.

    • @alabalanutnbolt
      @alabalanutnbolt 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Unfortunately for this customer Jimmy has saved his bacon by getting the DPF PRESSURE down to a good level where unfortunately temporary may be a long time or quite a lot of miles unfortunately. Cars are in general temporary so a temporary fix may be a wonderful thing.

      There is an option to add a special liquid to diesel fuel to clean the DPF. Significantly reduces pressure in the DPF.

    why you can't fill the dpf with 3L of fluid like in the audi a6?is the same engine mostly

    Great job Jimmy. It’s pain with the VW’s revs maxing out at 2500rpm when the vehicle is stationary. All VWs seem to be like that.

    It will be back within days. There is no sensor which will determine the ash and soot content as how many grams are in the DPF! The ECU is calculating due to the poor driving habits or if there is a malfunction in the system and the car / van can’t regen…. To reset the DPF either use only login and then adaptation or basic setting will do. Or get a VCDS. Autel will perform much better then Launch specially for DPF jobs. But keep launch as 2nd tool. Use some WD 40 to remove the Dif pressure sensor. EGR cooler either is blocked or electronically faulty. Needs replacement or deleted. Job done

      The egr cooler was partially blocked with soot on my 2019, 2.0 tdi Skoda Superb with 77k miles . This resulted in a P2002 code every few days.
      Egr valve and cooler were replaced at a cost of £1120 and it's been fine since.
      Will be adding dpf cleaner to the tank every few months in the hope it keeps the soot buildup lower.

    • @kaliabel1382
      @kaliabel1382 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Jon-pm8ie that’s why I mentioned replacement or delete will be the option. I seen soo many of them and cleaning was not an option for long term. When they call me straight away I’m giving them those two options. Cleaning will be hard and after a short while it will be back so I never recommend as customer will waste his time and money

      Hi. Just got a 2016 A6 estate 2.0 TDI ultra with 111k miles. I’ve been watching these sorts of videos since last night 😂 Previously had a Seat Leon 2.0 TDI FR 2015 model, no issues at all and it was high mileage. I do a mixture of city 30-40 mph, and motorway weekends. I do understand let the engine regenerate cycle and don’t stop the car but let its cycle finish, was able to assess that at idle while it was revving a bit higher. What do you recommend with the Audi A6, please preventative? EGR delete is enough? Do you do this and are you based in the UK?
