hi, i bought a k380 this year(october) and just today it stopped working. i just replaced the batteries and it stopped. just wondering if you change the batteries on the k780, with it continue working or not. ive seen a post with the same situation and im not sure if its common. ill see some more reviews of the k780 and try to get it. nice review btw.
Can the keys be customised using the logitech options? Also , the keys are circular in shape compared to the conventional squarish. Does this make typing easier or what? Await your feedback. Tks
@@janespindy Hey! Might do but there's already a lot of people who've reviewed this mouse haha. From what I've tested it works great with iPad but I don't think iPhones support mice?
hi pg.im steve in uk.just seen your review Logitech k780 and m720.just got new iPad pro12.9 5th genes can use keyboard and like a mouse too and put my iPhone next to it.cheers
This might be a total longshot, but always worth a try. I am curious if anyone who reads this knows how to make an inverted question mark with this keyboard when it is paired to an android. I cannot seem to find an answer that works. Not yet. 😊
It’s probably not what you’d classify as ‘throw in your bag portable’ as it’s a solid piece of kit to accommodate the ability to have an iPad and iPhone in the stand section. It’s also quite a tall keyboard so depending on your bag, might not fit. That said, I love it to bits so I would carry it because I can’t imagine using another keyboard.
Hi there, I think it feels good overall but not as good as a proper mechanical keyboard, sort of similar to a laptop keyboard for me, and after a few years still consistently the same. I haven't used the K380 though, check out my friend Sky Perspective's video here th-cam.com/video/-Hv7eMt-QtI/w-d-xo.html
I haven’t tried the K580 but I do know that K580 only pairs with two devices max? It is cheaper though so if you only need it for two devices max that might be good enough!
Thanks for the video! Question for you… if I use a unifying receiver with a mouse, do both the keyboard and mouse switch together to other devices or does only the keyboard switch over? TIA!
How the receivers work is you need to manually pair both devices to one receiver, then you need to assign the receiver each to a channel with the mouse and keyboard. So in my case both the mouse and keyboard are paired with it and are assigned to channel 1 of each.
I have trouble shooting problem and been try to find out the solution. I want my PC to connect via USB but I dont know how to switch it back from Bluetooth. I been try to reset it.
Hello, for me I had to connect it via the unifying receiver and then map the receiver to either 1/2/3. It's actually not super straightforward - you can read this guide online www.logitech.com/images/pdf/userguides/multi_connect_instructions.pdf
Hi! Will a tablet with case fit into the keyboard slot? I'm planning to buy a Samsung tab S7 and put a Spigen tough pro case on it... Kasi kung di rin kakasya pag may case sayang ung keyboard slot...
Yeah it does have all the mac keys, only thing is that it has the fn and ctrl buttons swapped (ctrl is leftmost button), then the rest are all labelled with the mac equivalents for option and cmd. But I got used to it quite quickly TBH.
You may have to buy mouse in about 3 years. I don’t have the mouse model number, so Logitech wants a $1 fee, plus $55 monthly membership fee for them to. Give me the mouse model no. Not going to happen.
I just released a review of the mouse I use with this, the Logitech M720. th-cam.com/video/l7NOj6GxPUg/w-d-xo.html
I have the exact same set up. I absolutely love it and I work so much better and efficiently with it.
I've seen some tech reviewers regard needing two AA batteries as a negative trait.... why?! This should be more common in tech accessories.
Your video was very helpful. Thank you.
Being able to switch between multiple devices is awesome 👌🏻
100%! I love it :D
If only this keyboard has PG Down/PG Up & Brightness button then it would perfect!
Yeah ive just been using the brightness setting on my macbook keyboard lol.
Is it quiet? I am looking for a quiet keyboard and this got recommend a fair amount of times.
Watching my friends video now ☺️ It’s great to watch you videos too PG!! Finally got my time to check you out guys again ☺️
Very good review. Useful to me. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing.
Just curious that how you guys clean the white rubber part after months of use?

Hey does this have dedicated pgup pgdn and end keys since I use them a lot for programming
The numpad has home, end, pgup and pgdn buttons if you have numlock off!
@@PGBlanks Thanks. I read somewhere that you need to press shift even without numlock if you want to use those keys
How is the portability of this keyboard? Would you carry this around?

Hai.. does the feel typing with k780 is same as k380 ? How it feels in long term ? Thanks

Can you use the k780 for gaming on a iPhone?
Can I use this wired?
Hello, no there is no way to use it wired. There is just bluetooth or the USB dongle
@@PGBlanks Thnx.
does it have scissor switches?

Most likely not, it seems to come with only one.

k780 connects using bluetooth, yes? Then why does it come with a USB receiver (it does come with USB receiver, right?) ?
It does both, so if you don't have bluetooth (like my desktop) you can still use it wirelessly
I got it for $28 Brand new from Amazon Australia today
That’s a great deal!
No caps lock light , a solid deal breaker for a lot of ppl.
Does anyone know how comfortable it is for gaming?
Does this work on an iPad Pro?
I’m sure it will work fine!

I think mga 1cm lang yung size ng groove so the thick cases might not fit properly
Hmm try anne pro 2 or the keychron 😅 I have one PG. I tell you, try one please! Hahahaha
