Great fish Catcher Thread 8/0 Black,, Tail Pheasant Body Feather dyed Red,,, Body Black Organza Ribbon ,,,, Flashback Red Holographic Tinsel,,,, Beard Same Feather ,,,
nice fly.. i have been using the ribbon and getting better at trimming it to fit, will try some of these flys... also on pheasent tail nymphs, i found that using ' ice dub peacock dubbing ' makes a great body.. and i have takin a fly( regular pheasent tail nymph, and one built with the ice dub ) under water looking at it.. the ice dub looks better,, i have been under water and have noticed that some nymphs, carry little air bubbles with them, and the ice dub seams to replicate the nymph better... thanks for you videos. looking forward to more...
I always admire your flies and your wise, but all I can see as the jaws of the vise. I can not determine which vice are you using. Would you please tell us more about you vice. Thanks

I'm so very curious on why you and many others tie in 8/0 thread, why don't you use 6/0 thread instead???
It all depend on the Pattern, 6/0 is fine you can tie with, but I use 6/0 for Larger Pattern like Lures etc :))
Mak
Is the hook used here slightly longer in shank than say a b175 ?
You made it look easy once again 👍
Thank you Steve, This one is B170, you can use B175, it's perfect for this Pattern
