where was hull#2 fabricated? I know the Seawind plan was to start manufacturing these in Turkey, has that transition taken place?? Also, is there any plan for Seawind to fabricate future hulls (like the 1370) in Turkey???
Seawind is a grate Cat but why do people go on about these scroll down windows and popup backdoor, a couple of years ago that might have been something but today?
I have to admit I find it hard to believe the owner of Seawind used hull #1 and thought it was good to pass on to a customer and that hull#2 didn't have some if not the same issues. The gel coating in particular, but there were a bunch of problems on hull #1. Seems a little bit like a paid promotion here.
Simon's enthusiasm in real life is as it comes accross in this video and his love for his boat is genuine. There was no paid promotion. There has however been quite a few changes with regards to the fitout and finish since the first hull and lessons learnt from Tula's sailing #1 out on the water for longer. There wouldn't be a new or used boat without a single issue to work through as these are hand built with an ecosystem of operating parts and materials, but a local dealer helps work through those with the factory for the customer.
Hi Steve, as per Brent’s comments feel confident that this is me and my feelings about the boat. Most of the initial issues have been addressed from what I can see so far and as I mentioned in my tour, this is hull 2 and it’s only going to get better from here!! Been away for a month and cannot wait to get back on her.
Love the hardware storage tray and shelve system 🙃
inspired by another familiar boat 🙂

Is the more space in main cabin between bed and ceiling on 1170 vs 1260??
yes that's right due to the flat decks on the 1170...it opens up the cabin volume and headroom
What's the maximum battery capacity the 1170 can have???
Up to 920AM of Lithium Batteries 👍
