Indeed PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC graphics are shaping up nicely as BANDAI NAMCO show us more graphics comparison compared to the original PAC-MAN WORLD game that came out on Playstation back in 1999.
Now 20 years later PAC-MAN WORLD is coming back as a full remake by the team at BANDAI NAMCO and I can't wait to play PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC on Nintendo Switch when it comes out on August 26 this month.
Not long to go until PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC comes out this month.
I'm hoping so, too.
Clowning Around's Remix or Remade music is so perfect

I’m crossing my fingers that they could include the gallery, Marathon and Outtakes.
So, I guess this means they’re remixing the compressed songs for the remake.

Yeah, and I just think someone, a TH-camr or someone made or found a MIDI track of “Clowning Around.” Then edited it to make it sound compressed.
I guess for the new remade soundtracks I think they lost some original music files but maybe if they do get them back and have the original music option when this remake comes out I mean they have the original music files for klonoa so why not for this one
I find it odd for them to remix this track and keep the higher pitch rather than using the originall uncompressed version or altering the pitch and tempo and quality to make it sound better. Corsair Cove had a short HQ verison in the PS1 Original. I can only hope that this a possible placeholder track as the other songs used in the trailers were the Uncompressed songs from the orignal and that would end up making these new arrangments sound very out of place in comparison
Almost all the sound effects for the level been changed.
Dots now show their score number whenever you eat them.
In OG version. It didn’t show the score number, instead, everytime you eat a fruit, or a ghost, the score number will be visible.

They remixed the compressed themes.....
I think this may be a stylistic choice. It’s different from the original, plus it makes sense being in the carnival world. Those places have really.....”interesting” speakers.

The same thing happened with the music of crash 2 from sane n trilogy sewer or later but I see it as serious.

Same here! I’ve played the original game so much when I was, like, 6 years old. And I enjoyed listening to the music too.
Have the bossfights been toned down in difficulty a bit? I remember them going on for too long without checkpoints.

I'll still take it. Unsure why they didn't try to find versions of the songs before they were compressed to play on a PS1 correctly though.
My only guess is that this is some placeholder either from the original game’s demo or this is something new

come on, they just had to put the original music without compressing it was not that hard
well... there could be the factor that they've lost the original files over time,

My main concern is whether or not the switch version will be able to keep a stable framerate.
Switch is locked at 30fps, other consoles and PC get 60
mmmm there is no much of a difference, the jump isnt as extreme as the crash remake. the remake could easily pass for a ps2 game,

I loved the remade music from all Remakes even from my childhood
Crash Bandicoot 2 and Warped , CTR Crash Team Racing , Spyro 1 , and even freaking Pac-Man World
See that’s my question, why does this sound like a completely different version instead of a remix? This sounds like some demo from the original and not a new thing.
