Yes there is a shut coil in every ACB. You will find both end of this coil at ACB terminals X1 and X2. When you give appropriate supply to this shunt coil ACB will trip. This shunt coil is give for remote trip maually or by any other supervisory relay
When there is voltage the coil generates magnetic field which attracts spindel and spring ( see at 7:40) in which spindel fixed it get charged. It keep in this position when voltage fails this spring releases stored energy and spindel strikes on a mechanical point and it trips ACB and it keep press that mechanical point which keeps ACB in trip position now if we removes UV coil there is nothing to press or keep in press position to trip ACB or remain it in same... so by removing this coil ACB is free from UV trip
U can identity it easily as UV coil is only one where spindel comes inside of coil when u give voltage to coil . Remaining two spindel will go out of coil when u give voltage to coil
